About
Willpower runs out. Grace doesn't. Steadfast is a Christian app for the habits that keep pulling you back, and the shame that comes after. Scripture, honest tracking, and a plan for the moment temptation hits. "Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don't give up." Galatians 6:9 WHEN TEMPTATION HITS* The panic button sits at the bottom of the home screen and it's always free. Tap it and nothing is asked of you at first. You get a prayer, then a verse, then a short menu of things that help, each one labeled with how long it takes. Breathe for 60 seconds. Move your body. Get distracted. Read your own reasons. Reach out to someone. At the end there are two ways out, "I made it through" and "I slipped," and both are treated with respect. An app you lie to stops working for you. YOUR REASONS, IN YOUR OWN WORDS* Write down why you started while you're thinking clearly, and add photos of the people you're doing this for. When you open the panic button at 1am, it's all sitting there. Your own words from a better day land harder than anything we could write for you. TRACK WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES* A live counter on the home screen, down to the second. A daily check-in that takes a minute: how the day went, what you stayed free from, anything you want to write down. Progress then shows you your current streak, your longest one, every day you've walked free across every attempt, a calendar of the days you showed up, your mood over time, and the triggers that keep turning up. Boredom, stress, late at night, being alone. You can edit your start date forward or back at any time, because people arrive already clean for a while and people forget to log a slip until the next day. IF YOU SLIP* The first thing on the screen is a verse about mercy, before the app asks you a single question. What happened next is optional and skippable. Your longest streak is kept and shown back to you, because those days happened and nothing erases them. No red screens, no "you failed," no guilt as motivation. GRACE DAYS* Miss a day and the habit doesn't have to die. Two grace days a month cover a missed check-in or reading so the run survives. The number stays honest though: a covered day isn't counted as a day you showed up. SCRIPTURE, NOT SELF-HELP* A passage for today with a short note on why that one, and room to write your reflection. The full Bible to read, search, and highlight, with verses tied to what you're actually fighting. A COMMUNITY THAT PRAYS* Post under a handle, never your real name. Tag what you're fighting and read what other people are carrying. The only two reactions are "praying for you" and "amen." No downvotes, no images, no comparing numbers. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT* No account needed to start. Your streaks, check-ins, reflections, and reasons are stored on your device and never uploaded, not to us and not to anyone. Signing in is only for the community, and that's the one part of the app you can skip entirely. You are not too far gone, and you are not the only one. Start today. "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:58 SUBSCRIPTION *Included with Steadfast Pro. WHEN TEMPTATION HITS*
The panic button sits at the bottom of the home screen and it's always free.
YOUR REASONS, IN YOUR OWN WORDS*
Write down why you started while you're thinking clearly, and add photos of the people you're doing this for. When you open the panic button at 1am, it's all sitting there. Your own words from a better day land harder than anything we could write for you.
