About
Explore propulsion performance with 49 explicitly bounded models across nine engine categories. ThrustOne brings inputs, equations, results, and model limitations into an offline workspace on Mac and iPad.\n\nStudy turbojets, turbofans, liquid and solid rockets, ramjets, scramjets, and simplified TBCC, RBCC, and ATR configurations. Selected models include variable heat capacity, gas-phase equilibrium, frozen expansion, and finite-rate reactions. Each model states its assumptions and supported conditions.\n\nEdit input forms or case JSON, save and reopen calculations, run parameter studies with up to 1,000 total points, compare constraints, and explore local one-dimensional optimization under a unimodality assumption. Export numerical results as JSON or CSV and charts as PNG or PDF.\n\nDesigned for students, educators, and preliminary propulsion studies. These bounded models are not a complete engine design or certification system. Advanced capabilities apply only to the models that explicitly support them.\n\nRead the complete English theory manual offline inside the app: 34 chapters with equations, worked examples, model assumptions, and a directory of all 49 models. Search the manual or jump to a page while studying your calculation.\n\nEnglish only. Requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 12 or later, or an iPad running iPadOS 16 or later. Calculations run on your device, with no account, advertisements, or usage analytics.Read more
