About

The Core was here before either side. Nature wants the world grown around it. The Void wants the world subtracted until only the Core is left. Neither one is the villain, and you pick a side every time you play. Nature/Void Defence is a lane-defence strategy game played on a hard-edged neon grid. Plant towers on the tiles beside the lane, set each one to a wide sweeping arc or a straight piercing beam, then release the wave and hold. The Core has three shields. No more. Stopping what walks the lane is only half of it. Every tower quietly converts the ground around it: growth creeps outward, corruption eats inward. Hold the front and the world map keeps every tile you took. Lose, and the other side keeps theirs. The balance the Core reports is the running total of every front you have played. WHAT IS IN IT • Sixty campaign fronts across six chapters, each widening the grid and adding faster and armoured units • Twelve tower forms, six per faction, mirrored so neither side gets the better toolkit. Four roles are open from the first front: all-rounder, rapid fire, long reach and slow. Heavy splash arrives at front 5 and the herald form at front 10 • Tap a tile to preview a tower's reach, tap again to plant, or drag the card straight onto the lane • Tap a planted tower to see its numbers, switch between arc and beam, or sell it • Speed any wave up to 2x or 3x • Five powers: Bloom converts a 3x3 instantly, Collapse un-builds a herald's form or unmakes the toughest unit on the lane, Overgrow doubles conversion for a wave, Silence stops enemy conversion for a wave, and Recall refunds a tower in full once per front • The herald duel: on a boss wave Verdant or Nought plants its own tower forms on your ground, up to three at a time. Each one holds the tile it stands on and takes the ground around it until your towers cut it down or Collapse un-builds it • Daily Front: one new lane a day, scored against your own best • Endless Siege: the waves never stop, and the lane changes every day • The Turning: once a week the world balance resets and both sides race from zero • A persistent world map that shows how much of the world is grown, how much is unmade, and which side took each front • Two faction ladders to climb: Sprout, Grove, Wilds, Verdant, or Cinder, Rift, Hollow, Nought • Collectible tower liveries, permanent upgrade tracks, eighteen citations to earn and a compendium of every unit and tower form with real numbers BUILT TO BE LEFT ALONE No account. No adverts. No purchases. No network connection of any kind: the whole game runs on your device, even in flight mode. Nothing about you is collected. In Settings, Reduced flash calms strike flashes, background motion and vibration, and Faction marks tell the two sides apart by shape as well as colour.Read more

THE HERALD DUEL A herald no longer only walks the lane. On a boss wave Verdant or Nought plants its own side's tower forms on the ground beside the lane, up to three at a time. • A planted form holds its tile, so you cannot build there, and it takes the ground around it while the wave is walking • Between waves it stands dormant, and it keeps the tile • Your own towers turn on it as soon as nothing is walking through their reach • Collapse now un-builds a herald's form outright, and Silence stops one taking ground for a wave • Cut a form down and the tile it stood on goes straight back to yo…
