About
Tonight's programme, in four acts. Standing Date is a date night planner for couples who keep ending up doing the same thing. It is laid out like a matinee playbill: you swipe between four acts, pull up the Programme for everything else, and the app hands you date ideas one ticket at a time. Act I · Tonight Tap once and a ticket comes up with a single date idea on it. There's no quiz first and no list to scroll. Narrow it with seven filters: in or out, low cost, two or three hours, cozy, a kid asleep at home, any season. Redraw as often as you like, and an idea won't come round again until you've seen every one that fits. Say "Let's do this one" and the ticket becomes a plan with numbered steps, what to bring, conversation starters for the way there, a map search for somewhere nearby, a calendar entry and a share button. Act II · The standing date Every Friday, every other Saturday, once a month: pick the rhythm, the day and the time once. The app counts down to it, reminds you beforehand, and keeps a streak that only moves when a date actually happens. Anniversaries and birthdays get their own reminder, and as one gets close the draw skips the no-cost ideas so the night feels like an occasion. Act III · Our jar The places you keep meaning to go and the things you said you'd try go in your date jar, each with its own kind, cost, length and energy. They're drawn right alongside the built-in ideas. Act IV · Memories After the night, each of you gives it a verdict and adds a line. Over time "What your dates say" shows which kinds of date you both enjoy, and the draw leans that way. That's a small set of rules running on your phone. It isn't AI. Intermission: a second phone, if you want one One phone runs the whole show. If your partner wants a copy, link their phone with a six-character code (no account, no email) and the standing date, tonight's plan, the jar and your memories stay in step on both. The ideas 150 date ideas come free, written by hand across six kinds: talk, play, make, move, taste and explore. None of them rely on a city guide, so they work in a small town as well as a big one. They name a kind of place, never a business. There's no sexual content, no dares and no drinking games. At the Box Office: Standing Date Plus - the full library of 600 ideas, plus four seasonal decks (autumn, holidays, heat wave, rainy day) - surprise dates: write up to three clues, lock them behind Face ID or your passcode, and get a nudge when it's time to send each one - three challenges: A to Z, a date every month, one of each kind - photos on your memories and a printable PDF yearbook - creating a pairing code (joining one is always free) A home-screen widget counts down to your next date, and you can export everything to a backup file and restore it. There are no ads. Tickets and the fine print Plus comes as a Season Pass (Standing Date Plus Annual, a one-year subscription that starts with a 7-day free trial), a Single (Standing Date Plus Monthly, a one-month subscription), or Lifetime, a one-time purchase. Both subscriptions renew automatically. The Box Office shows each price in your currency before you buy, and payment goes to your Apple ID when you confirm.
