About
SensitEvolum is a pocket darkroom for film and vintage photography. Point it at the light you are about to shoot, and it reads the scene the way a densitometer would — then tells you which classic emulsion it resembles and how far you are from a Sunny-16 exposure. HOW IT WORKS Capture a frame of the environment with the camera, or load one from your library. Dial in aperture and ISO on knurled wheels. SensitEvolum extracts the dominant dye colours, estimates correlated colour temperature in kelvin, and traces per-channel histograms — entirely on this device. EMULSION MATCHING The optical fingerprint is compared, axis by axis, against a built-in cabinet of classic stocks such as colour negative, slide/reversal and black-and-white emulsions. The three closest matches appear with a radar comparison so you can see where the scene and the stock agree: warmth, saturation, contrast, grain affinity and channel bias. EXPOSURE GUIDANCE A Sunny-16 descendant maps scene luminance through an interpolated lookup table, nudges the reading by colour temperature, then re-bases it to your aperture and ISO. You get a suggested shutter speed and a compensation readout in stops — useful before you load a roll, and again when you choose what to shoot next. THE DARKROOM WORKFLOW • Workbench — undeveloped rolls, grouped by recommended stock or kelvin band • Viewfinder — camera or library, aperture/ISO wheels, cable-release shutter • Developing Pool — dye palette, kelvin gauge, histograms, top-three matches, EV verdict • Negative Album — a timeline of processed batches; long-press to fine-tune match weight • Palette Room — inspect every built-in emulsion template; offset thresholds if you need to • Developing Log — export a TXT or PDF log sheet for the binder or the lab Read the light. Choose the emulsion.Read more

HOW IT WORKS
Capture a frame of the environment with the camera, or load one from your library. Dial in aperture and ISO on knurled wheels. SensitEvolum extracts the dominant dye colours, estimates correlated colour temperature in kelvin, and traces per-channel histograms — entirely on this device.
EMULSION MATCHING
The optical fingerprint is compared, axis by axis, against a built-in cabinet of classic stocks such as colour negative, slide/reversal and black-and-white emulsions. The three closest matches appear with a radar comparison so you can see where the scene and the stock agree: warmth, saturation, contrast, grain affinity and channel bias.
EXPOSURE GUIDANCE
A Sunny-16 descendant maps scene luminance through an interpolated lookup table, nudges the reading by colour temperature, then re-bases it to your aperture and ISO. You get a suggested shutter speed and a compensation readout in stops — useful before you load a roll, and again when you choose what to shoot next.
THE DARKROOM WORKFLOW
• Workbench — undeveloped rolls, grouped by recommended stock or kelvin band
• Viewfinder — camera or library, aperture/ISO wheels, cable-release shutter
• Developing Pool — dye palette, kelvin gauge, histograms, top-three matches, EV verdict
• Negative Album — a timeline of processed batches; long-press to fine-tune match weight
• Palette Room — inspect every built-in emulsion template; offset thresholds if you need to
• Developing Log — export a TXT or PDF log sheet for the binder or the lab
