Built for older adults, people living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss or other cognitive challenges, people with disabilities, children with caregiver supervision, and anyone who benefits from large, clear choices. SafeHelp opens directly to a calm, high-contrast home screen with simple language and strong accessibility support. HELP IN THE MOMENT • Call 911 with an intentional confirmation • Report a fall and prepare a help message • Call a trusted family member, caregiver, friend, or neighbor • Send an “I’m OK” check-in • Use Take Me Home for Apple Maps directions, trusted-person calling, and location-sharing choices • Activate a press-and-hold panic siren IMPORTANT INFORMATION, READY WHEN NEEDED • Create an on-device Medical Card • Add medications, allergies, conditions, doctors, care professionals, and important notes • Choose which medical details may be included when sharing a help alert • Share the Medical Card through the standard iOS share sheet ROUTINES AND REASSURANCE • Schedule one or two daily check-ins • Set medication reminders • Use Home Safety Zone for a local alert after leaving or returning to the configured home area • Prepare an away or return-home text for selected trusted people; review it and tap Send in Apple’s Messages screen SAFEHELP PLUS SafeHelp is free to download, and essential emergency features remain available without a subscription.
