About

Chargie turns the most repeated moment of your day — plugging in — into something you can learn from, with a cute companion along for the ride. It records every charge, tells you when to unplug, and gives you a Studio to design wallpapers and widget art around your buddy. CHARGE LOG — WHAT YOUR CHARGING LOOKS LIKE Most battery apps show one number — the percentage already in your status bar. Chargie keeps the history. - Every session recorded: the level you started from, the level you reached, how long it took - Charge speed in % per minute, measured on your own device and charger - Battery gained per day, charted over 7 or 30 days - Averages that mean something: typical top-up, session length and speed BATTERY CARE Lithium batteries age fastest at the extremes. Chargie shows where you stand: - What share of your charges stayed in the gentle 20–85% range - How many went past 95%, and how many started below 15% - A plain-language explanation of why it matters — no scare tactics, no fake "health score" CHARGE REMINDERS Set the mark you care about — 80% by default — and Chargie works out when you'll reach it from the speed it just measured, then reminds you. It can also tell you at 100%, or warn you when the battery runs low. Honest about the limits: iOS never lets an app watch your battery continuously in the background, so these are estimates, corrected every time the app runs — and the app says so too. Plug in and the app's Home tab shows the measured speed, the time left to your target and the time left to full. Start a live session and your companion tracks the real charge while it happens. MEET YOUR COMPANION Pick your buddy — Twilight, Berry, Lilac, Mintling, Aqua or Grape. Six candy-pastel energy-spark characters, each with its own glow. Their mood follows the device's real battery state: idle, charging, milestones at 50/80/100%, and low. The same face appears across the app, the widgets and every design you make. STUDIO — MAKE IT YOURS Instead of scrolling someone else's wallpapers, you compose your own: - 8 templates — Spotlight, Battery Ring, Poster, Polaroid, Glass Card, Neon, Sticker Wall, Widget Art - Backgrounds: 12 gradients, a photo of yours, or an image from the Chargie library - Drag your companion and caption anywhere on the canvas; pinch to resize - Moods, text styles and colors, sticker sets, frames, and a battery ring showing your real level - Wallpaper, square and widget shapes - Save to Photos at full resolution or set it as widget art — designs stay in "My designs" for later edits WIDGETS YOU CONFIGURE Add the Chargie widget, then long-press ▸ Edit Widget to choose the companion, whether it shows your Studio design, and whether to show a battery line. Lock Screen widgets come in all three shapes. Because iOS gives widgets no live battery reading, they show the last level Chargie saw, always with the time it was read — an honest number, not a guess. AUTOMATIONS Three actions you can build automations with: Start Charge Session, Check Battery, and Open Charge Log — pair them with Apple's Shortcuts app to run something automatically when your charger connects. LIBRARY Companions, wallpapers, battery emojis, charge scenes and widget art — save any to Photos, or open one straight into Studio. HONEST BY DESIGN - Battery data is always real — Chargie never fakes a level, and never invents history it did not observe. - Estimates are labelled as estimates, everywhere they appear. - iOS never lets an app set your wallpaper for you. Chargie saves the image to Photos and shows you where to apply it. - Demo screens are clearly labelled, and demo values are never recorded to your log. - Chargie only ever ADDS images to your photo library. It never reads the photos you already have.Read more
