Nova Numbers: Handwritten Math

Nova Numbers is math practice your child writes, not taps. Every answer is written by hand with a finger. Nova reads the numeral on the device, and their own handwriting is what appears in the answer box — because the writing is the point, not a tapped bubble. Made for learners aged 4 to 14, with the most content for early and developing arithmetic. WRITE IT. SOLVE IT. Children answer by forming the number themselves, just like on paper. Nova reads it on the device and shows their own ink back to them. Prefer typing? A number pad is always one tap away. LEARNING TO FORM THE NUMERALS Younger writers get Number Writing: trace each digit along its proper stroke path, starting where the dot is and travelling the way the numeral is actually written. WHEN AN ANSWER IS WRONG, WE TEACH IT Miss a question and Nova shows a strategy hint. Miss it again and Orbi walks the answer out on a number line, hop by hop, then hands the question back so your child answers it themselves. MISTAKES COME BACK UNTIL THEY STICK Every question your child doesn't get right first time goes to the Repair Bay. Nova brings each one back on a spreading schedule — the next day, three days later, a week later — until they answer it correctly three times in a row. A PROGRESS REPORT FOR GROWN-UPS Behind the grown-ups-only check: how many days they practised this week, time spent, how much they got right first time, a mastery score for each operation, and exactly which skills are waiting in the Repair Bay.
