About
ScanMyCard is a digital business card. Build a card on your phone, show its QR code, and the person who scans it gets your details on their phone. You don't need an account, and the person receiving your card never needs the app. What you can do - Build a card with your photo, name, role, company, headline, email, phone, LinkedIn and website, plus up to three extra fields such as Calendly, Signal or an office address. Twelve colours. - Show the QR full screen. The screen brightens while it is showing, so it scans in a dim room. - Share the card as a link, as a contact file that saves straight into Contacts with your photo, or as a QR image, through the share sheet, AirDrop, Messages or Mail. - Add a note about where you met. It travels with the link and into the contact file the other person saves. - Keep up to twelve cards, for example Work, Conference and Personal, and switch between them. - Put a card's QR on the Lock Screen or Home Screen as a widget. A Control Centre button (iOS 18) and a Siri shortcut open it full screen. - Import a card from a ScanMyCard link or from a hosted card on scanmycard.site. - Sign in with Apple or Google, if you like: your cards get a permanent address on scanmycard.site that stays the same when you edit them, they appear on every device, and you see the people who shared their details back. You can delete the account in the app at any time. How it works A card made in the app lives inside its own link, and the QR encodes that link, so the app works offline. Scanning the code opens the card in the other person's browser at scanmycard.site and offers the contact file; that step needs an internet connection. The photo stays on your phone and travels only in the contact file, because a QR code cannot carry a picture. If you also use scanmycard.site, hosted cards can be added to the app and refreshed there. Privacy Cards made in the app stay on your phone. Signing in is optional; with an account we keep your sign-in email and an account ID to run it, and you can delete the account in the app. The app has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not record who scans your card.
