About
A standing order stays in force until somebody cancels it. The war ended eleven years ago. Nobody cancelled the order. Every mech still out there is fighting a war that is already over, because none of them was ever told to stop — and your mech is the one that never received the order in the first place. Six months ago a survey pilot named Mira went into the foundries and did not come back. Her black box is still down there, locked in the chest of a mech called Iron Maw. You are going to get it. BUILD THE MACHINE Your mech is four systems, and each one owns exactly one thing. The drive is your speed. The chassis is your armour. The reactor is your aim. The weapon is your damage. There are no classes and no loadout puzzles — just four decisions and what they cost you elsewhere. Twenty parts across five grades, each one upgradeable, and the slot keeps its upgrades when you fit something better. FIGHT WITH WHAT YOU BUILT Duels are decided by how your four stats meet your opponent's and which of three techniques you pick. Rail Slug is the honest shot. Siege Beam hits far harder and misses far more often. Shrapnel Storm always lands, and against an opponent too fast to touch it is the only thing that will. Attack and reactor make a burst plan work; armour and speed win by attrition. Neither is better. WALK TEN CHAPTERS One hundred and fifty missions across ten regions, in a rhythm of maze, console, duel. Explore a foundry floor with traps, locked gates and hostiles that shoot from cover. Work a real instrument — a vault lock, a multimeter across live rails, an oscilloscope, a pressure dial — each one its own machine that tells you which way you are wrong, not merely that you are. Then face one of fifty opponents, built on five body plans, ending with the chapter's own boss. FIND OUT WHAT SHE RECORDED Mira transmitted on the channel every machine in the field was listening to, so her log is cached across them. Data Chips pull it back one block at a time — twenty recordings, each one a scene, and the last of them has the final word. ALSO IN THE BOX - One health bar that carries between missions. Nothing else breaks, jams or needs repairing. - A daily supply drop on a seven-day cycle. - Ten languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. - A campaign written end to end. Every one of the 150 missions has its own briefing; no two opponents share a codename. Nobody cancelled the order. Somebody has to.Read more

BUILD THE MACHINE
Your mech is four systems, and each one owns exactly one thing.
FIGHT WITH WHAT YOU BUILT
Duels are decided by how your four stats meet your opponent's and which of three techniques you pick. Rail Slug is the honest shot. Siege Beam hits far harder and misses far more often. Shrapnel Storm always lands, and against an opponent too fast to touch it is the only thing that will. Attack and reactor make a burst plan work; armour and speed win by attrition. Neither is better.
WALK TEN CHAPTERS
One hundred and fifty missions across ten regions, in a rhythm of maze, console, duel.
FIND OUT WHAT SHE RECORDED
Mira transmitted on the channel every machine in the field was listening to, so her log is cached across them. Data Chips pull it back one block at a time — twenty recordings, each one a scene, and the last of them has the final word.
ALSO IN THE BOX
- One health bar that carries between missions.
Somebody has to.
