About
Wool Sort — untangle the yarn, one spool at a time. Tap a yarn ball to wind it onto a spool of the same color. Three matching turns on one spool snap into the pattern above. Spools don't care about color—but wind the wrong one and it jams, so every move has to be planned. HOW IT PLAYS • Pick a spool, then tap a ball to wind it on • Three same-color turns clear the spool and fill a stitch in the pattern • You only get a couple of spools, but the board holds five or six colors—that's the real squeeze • Every ball is visible on the table. The puzzle is the order, not the guessing • Stuck? "Unwind" is free and unlimited—send the top turn back to the table and replan WHY IT'S FUN • 40 hand-stitched patterns: hearts, stars, cats, snowflakes, weave grids—one picture per level • Difficulty ramps up: more colors, fewer spools, bigger patterns • No network, no energy timers, no ads, no in-app purchases • A round takes two or three minutes—good for a commute or before sleep • All art and sound is generated procedurally, with a warm woolly feel WHO IT'S FOR • Anyone who likes sorting, organizing, and matching puzzles • Anyone after something to unwind with that isn't pushing a battle pass • Cross-stitch and knitting folks Open it and play. No account needed. —— HOW IT WORKS Each level's pattern is a blueprint: it tells you exactly which colors it needs and how many stitches of each. Plan against it. The spool rule is simple—a ball only goes onto an empty spool, or one already winding the same color. Mixed spools are impossible by design, so a spool can never be permanently ruined. The worst case is a bad order, and "Unwind" hands the yarn back so you can start over. What you're actually solving: you hold only two spools (three later on) while the table offers five or six colors. How many colors you can have "open" at once is your bottleneck. Which color to finish first, and when to free up a spool—that's what decides the level.Read more

HOW IT WORKS
Each level's pattern is a blueprint: it tells you exactly which colors it needs and how many stitches of each.
Which color to finish first, and when to free up a spool—that's what decides the level.
