FajrBuddy: Alarm

About

Fajr is the hardest prayer to wake for. FajrBuddy is built for that one problem. THE ALARM HOLDS ON The alarm rings before Fajr and keeps going. To stop it you shake your phone — not a half-asleep tap you won't remember in the morning. Need a few more minutes? Snooze is there, but only a few times, and never past the end of the window. IT STARTS THE NIGHT BEFORE Begin your wind-down and a sleep sound plays while you fall asleep, fading out over half an hour. Choose from rain, a fan, or brown, pink and white noise. RELIABLE WAKE MODE FajrBuddy keeps a very quiet sound running overnight so the alarm can still play through a locked or silenced phone. It shares audio rather than taking it over, so music or a podcast won't stop it ringing. Two honest caveats: it uses a little extra battery, and it can't work if you force-quit the app before bed. FajrBuddy warns you if it thinks it's been closed. A BUDDY THAT GROWS Every Fajr you make feeds a buddy that grows from a baby to fully grown, with milestones along the way. It reacts to how the morning actually went — a gentle reason to get up on the mornings your own reasons are thin. YOUR STREAK, AT A GLANCE Your week sits at the top of the home screen, so a missed morning is impossible to ignore. Tick off wudu and Fajr each day and watch the run build. ACCURATE PRAYER TIMES Times are worked out on your device from your location. Choose from thirteen calculation methods and both madhabs to match your local mosque. All five prayers plus sunrise, with optional reminders for each. PRIVACY Your location is never sent to our servers, and your prayer times are calculated on your phone. You can download everything we hold about you, or delete your account outright, from inside the app. SUBSCRIPTION FajrBuddy is a subscription with a 7-day free trial. Prices vary by country and are shown before you subscribe. Cancel any time in your App Store settings.
