About
Ammi has run Khan Dhaba for thirty years. Now she has 30 days to pay the rent, or lose the dhaba and the family home upstairs. Her four children have come home to save it, one plate at a time. Dhaba Dash is a desi cooking game and restaurant time-management game. Play solo through ten kitchens, or cook together with a friend in 2-player online co-op. A dhaba is a roadside café: strong chai, quick food, and a queue that never quite thins out. Orders land on the rail and Ammi calls them out. Brew the chai, fry the pakoras, plate the karahi with fresh naan, and get it all to the hatch before anybody's patience runs out. AMMI IS COUNTING ON YOU She calls every order in Urdu from the head of the rail. Serve fast and she's delighted: "Shabash! Dukaan bach jaayegi!" Let an order go cold and she's worried. Let a customer walk out and she's in tears. You can switch her off in Settings. She'd rather you didn't. TEN KITCHENS, TEN SHIFTS Start on Morning Chai and learn the ropes. Then the Snack Bar, where the fryer never stops, and the Lunchtime Rush. The Evening Crowd wants one before home. After that it gets serious: the Breakfast Rush and its halwa puri, Grill Night with the kebabs on the tawa, the Nihari House where one pot takes twelve seconds and you can't stand and watch it, and the Paratha Stall. Then a Double Shift, and finally the Wedding Shift: everything, all night. NOW WITH TWO OF YOU Ten more kitchens built for a pair, played online. One of you hosts and gets a four-letter code; the other types it in. No accounts, no friend lists, no waiting in a lobby. Half the rooms are split by a wall you can't walk round, so the only way to finish a dish is to pass it over, or throw it. REAL FOOD, PROPERLY MADE Chai brewed with milk, and sugar if they asked for it. Samosas and pakoras out of the fryer, papdi chaat built on the plate. Aloo tikki, pav bhaji, biryani from the degh, karahi with naan straight off the tawa. Halwa puri, seekh kebabs, lamb nihari, parathas plain or with an egg, and samosa chaat. Every order ticket shows the ingredients and exactly which pan they go into. FOUR CHEFS, FOUR KNACKS The Khan siblings run the place between them, and nobody is simply better than anyone else: • Hamza, the eldest: the kettle brews 40% faster • Zara carries two things at once • Ayesha's regulars are patient: orders wait 25% longer • Bilal runs 35% faster than the rest of them PLAY IT YOUR WAY Fixed or floating joystick, left or right handed, adjustable control and text size, tap-to-walk, haptics, and a reduced-flashing option. BEAT YOUR FAMILY Game Center leaderboards for every kitchen plus a combined total, so the argument about who's actually best at this can finally be settled. NO ADS. NO IN-APP PURCHASES. NO ACCOUNTS. No adverts, nothing to buy, no sign-up, and no analytics. Online co-op passes moves between the two phones while you're playing and stores nothing.Read more
