The app itself is available in 53 languages. Where translation happens Translations are made on your iPhone by the translation engine built into iOS. Some languages need a one-time download before first use. Speech recognition uses Apple's speech service, which may process your voice on Apple's servers depending on the language and your iPhone. Available languages and voices depend on your iPhone and iOS version. No account No sign-up. DuoTalk keeps no audio recordings and does not save your conversations: only your language pair is remembered for next time. Good to know Machine translation can make mistakes.
