About

Most herbal apps tell you what a plant is for. This one tells you what it does to the medicine you are already taking. Type a medicine by its brand name. It is resolved to its generic ingredient through the US National Library of Medicine, then checked against 497 remedies. Where we hold no interaction data, the app says so plainly instead of leaving you to assume you are safe. And when the honest answer is a doctor rather than a herb, it says that instead of a suggestion, not alongside one. EVERY SAFETY FEATURE IS FREE, PERMANENTLY. Nothing is for sale in this version: no in-app purchases, no subscription, no supplements, no ads, and no account to create. WHAT'S INSIDE Herbal Encyclopedia — 497 remedies from African, Ayurvedic, Chinese, Native American, European and Unani traditions. Each entry gives its traditional preparation, potency, safety notes and any known drug interactions we hold. Symptom Checker — 248 symptoms matched to the remedies traditionally used for them. Plant Identifier — scientific name, botanical family and match confidence from a photograph. No preparation or dosage is ever given from a photograph. Powered by PlantNet; it needs a connection and a camera. Drug-Herb Interaction Checker — curated NIH NCCIH and Memorial Sloan Kettering data. Commonly studied interactions only, not exhaustive. Absence of a flag is not a guarantee of safety. ELEVEN SCREENING TOOLS Heart Risk Score — ten-year heart attack and stroke risk, ACC/AHA Pooled Cohort Equations (2013). Mind Screen — the GAD-7 and PHQ-9 scales, with crisis lines shown when a score calls for them. Sleep Apnea Screen — the risk factors most associated with it, explained as you answer. Men's Health Screen — erectile health and its documented link with cardiovascular risk. Cycle & Ovulation Tracker — phase, fertile window and ovulation estimate. Biological Age — an eighteen-question lifestyle estimate, not a blood-based biomarker panel. Brain Age — a five-round reaction test read against published age benchmarks (Deary & Der 2005; Woods et al. 2015). Lung & Heart Vitality — a guided breath-hold and pulse count. Migraine Trigger Tracker — log episodes and see which triggers recur. Hydration Calculator — a daily water target from weight, activity and climate. Wellness Tracker — six dimensions, tracked week by week. The encyclopedia, the symptom checker and all eleven screening tools work with the network switched off. WHO IS DR. GIDEON? Rev. Dr. Gideon Afolabi holds the Medicinal Plants Certificate, a six-course programme authored by Cornell University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and completed through eCornell in December 2024. He is a pastor, and the founder of McFuntain LLC. This app does not provide medical care. INFORMATION, NOT PRESCRIPTION We do not sell supplements and we do not push products. No entry recommends a dose. Where a screening result mentions herbs, it sends you to the interaction checker; it does not prescribe. PRIVACY No account. No tracking. No ads. Your answers stay on your device. Five features send something off it, and only when you use them: a photo to the plant identifier, a medicine name to the US National Library of Medicine, a product name to the NIH supplement label database, supplement and medicine names to openFDA for recall checks, and a barcode to Open Food Facts. None of it is stored by us. Google Fonts serves the typefaces and so sees your IP address on every page load. NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE This app is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Herbal remedies can interact with prescription medicine. Speak to a qualified healthcare provider before starting a remedy or stopping a prescribed treatment. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.Read more
