About

Zuhra follows your cycle and answers one question every day: can you pray and fast today? • The answer first, in plain words: tuhr, hayd, istihada or nifas. • One button per state: "My period started" when bleeding begins, "Bleeding stopped" when it ends. If a day goes unlogged, Zuhra asks you one question before it answers. • A reason for every state: what you logged, the rule applied, and which scholars hold it. • When bleeding stops: the steps of ghusl, and which prayer to pray now, depending on the time you became pure. • Gregorian and Hijri calendars together, with your next period and its likely end predicted, and a history of your cycle lengths. • Ramadan make-up without the arithmetic: hayd and nifas days during Ramadan join your make-up list by themselves. Add days missed for other reasons (travel, illness, pregnancy, breastfeeding) and tick them off as you make them up. • Missed prayers: if your period began after a prayer's time had come in and you had not prayed it yet, Zuhra asks and keeps it for you. • Nifas after birth, and istihada, each counted its own way. • Guidance for what matters during your period: the Qur'an, the mosque and i'tikaf, Hajj and Umrah, and Laylat al-Qadr. • Quiet reminders. With discreet wording on, the lock screen shows only "Zuhra: check in". • Arabic and English, Eastern Arabic or Western digits, light or dark, in a clear, readable typeface. Rulings Zuhra applies one range to everyone, the position of the majority of jurists (Maliki, Shafi'i and Hanbali): a period of 1 to 15 days. The Hanafi range is 3 to 10 days, and the app says so openly. Every ruling appears in [square brackets] with the scholars who hold it; Zuhra states nothing in its own voice. Privacy No account, no server, no analytics. Everything you log stays on your phone, and we hold no copy. Ads Zuhra is free and shows at most one non-personalized ad a day, never on Today and not in your first three days. One purchase removes them, with no subscription. Please note Zuhra is not a fatwa; unusual cases are for a scholar. Predictions are estimates from your own log, not medical advice and not contraception. For pain or unusual bleeding, see a doctor.Read more
