About

Heard about Japanese walking and want to actually do it? Stride35 is the interval walking timer that runs the method for you: 3 minutes brisk, 3 minutes slow, five times. Thirty minutes, four days a week. THE METHOD, SIMPLY Interval walking training (IWT) alternates short bursts of brisk walking with easy recovery walking. Stride35 follows the protocol studied at Shinshu University in Japan: 3 min brisk + 3 min slow, repeated 5 times. You just walk. The app tells you when to switch. THE TIMER • Voice coach calls every switch: "Brisk pace", "Easy pace", 10-second warnings, halfway, done • Never talks over your music or podcast — cues duck the audio and hand it back • Screen stays awake, giant phase colours you can read at a glance • Vibration cues if you prefer silence • Editable protocol: 1–10 minutes per interval, up to 10 sets, start brisk or slow STREAKS & WEEKLY GOAL • Day streak and "days this week" dots on the home screen • Default goal 4 days a week, the researched rhythm — change it any time • Every walk saved automatically with minutes, sets and completion • Share a finish card when you want to FREE & QUIET • No paywall, no subscription, no account • Works fully offline — the timer is on your phone, not on a server • Ads never appear during your walk Stride35 is a timer, not a medical device, and gives no health advice. Based on interval walking research from Shinshu University. Consult a professional before starting a new exercise routine.Read more
