About
Steady is a symptom and trigger diary for people living with one or more chronic conditions — the kind where symptoms move for no obvious reason, and the appointment is fifteen minutes long. Half a minute a day. Score how you felt, tick what happened. After a few weeks there is enough in the record to check whether anything you log lines up with how you feel — and when there is not enough, Steady says so plainly instead of inventing an answer. WHY THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT It is easy to build a tracker that announces your top trigger after a week. It is also easy for that answer to be water, because you drink it every day and there was nothing to compare against. Steady will not do that. Before it compares anything it needs at least ten days where a factor was present and ten days where it was not. It checks same day, next day and two days later separately, and corrects every comparison together, so that testing many things does not manufacture a result by luck. Until a pattern clears that bar, the Patterns screen shows you how close each one is and nothing more. WHAT YOU CAN RECORD • Any symptoms you choose, 0 to 10, named in your own words • Factors — food, sleep, weather, stress, anything you want to test • Flares: a spike at noon that eased by evening, kept as its own event • Medications, including weekly, every-other-week and cycle schedules • Period days, if you turn cycle tracking on • A note for whatever the numbers do not capture • Days you missed. You can fill them in later, and gaps stay gaps — nothing is smoothed over FOR THE APPOINTMENT The doctor's report is one page: how each symptom ran over the period, how closely you kept to your medication, and any association that held up — with the method stated, so a clinician can judge it rather than take it on trust. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER There is nothing to sign up for. Your record is on this iPhone and nowhere else — not on our servers, because there are none. Save a backup whenever you like; the file is yours to keep and yours to move. BOUGHT ONCE, NOT RENTED Everything you record is free and stays free: every score, the calendar, the charts at any range, and CSV export. Pro is $24.99 one time — no subscription, and no trial to forget to cancel. It unlocks the full analysis and the doctor's report. The strongest pattern in your record is free as well. COMING FROM ANOTHER TRACKER Export a CSV and bring it with you. Steady shows you every symptom and factor it found in the file and asks what each one is before writing anything, and importing only adds — nothing already in Steady is overwritten. Two years of history is two years the analysis can start from. NOT MEDICAL ADVICE Steady describes what is in your own record. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not tell you what to do about what it finds. A pattern is a question worth asking your clinician, not an answer. Never start, stop or change a medication because of something the app shows you.Read more

Half a minute a day. Score how you felt, tick what happened. After a few weeks there is enough in the record to check whether anything you log lines up with how you feel — and when there is not enough, Steady says so plainly instead of inventing an answer.
WHY THIS ONE IS DIFFERENT
It is easy to build a tracker that announces your top trigger after a week.
WHAT YOU CAN RECORD
• Any symptoms you choose, 0 to 10, named in your own words
• Factors — food, sleep, weather, stress, anything you want to test
• Flares: a spike at noon that eased by evening, kept as its own event
• Medications, including weekly, every-other-week and cycle schedules
• Period days, if you turn cycle tracking on
• A note for whatever the numbers do not capture
• Days you missed. You can fill them in later, and gaps stay gaps — nothing is smoothed over
FOR THE APPOINTMENT
The doctor's report is one page: how each symptom ran over the period, how closely you kept to your medication, and any association that held up — with the method stated, so a clinician can judge it rather than take it on trust.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER
There is nothing to sign up for. Your record is on this iPhone and nowhere else — not on our servers, because there are none. Save a backup whenever you like; the file is yours to keep and yours to move.
BOUGHT ONCE, NOT RENTED
Everything you record is free and stays free: every score, the calendar, the charts at any range, and CSV export. Pro is $24.99 one time — no subscription, and no trial to forget to cancel. It unlocks the full analysis and the doctor's report. The strongest pattern in your record is free as well.
COMING FROM ANOTHER TRACKER
Export a CSV and bring it with you. Steady shows you every symptom and factor it found in the file and asks what each one is before writing anything, and importing only adds — nothing already in Steady is overwritten. Two years of history is two years the analysis can start from.
NOT MEDICAL ADVICE
Steady describes what is in your own record. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not tell you what to do about what it finds. A pattern is a question worth asking your clinician, not an answer. Never start, stop or change a medication because of something the app shows you.
