About
Ouv Blyvk puts you in charge of a live, four-arm signalised junction modelled on the same Nagel-Schreckenberg cellular automaton that traffic engineers use in real-world research. Watch hundreds of virtual vehicles pour through the intersection, see phantom jams form from nothing, then tune your signal plan and lane rules until the stop-and-go waves dissolve and throughput climbs. Eight hand-crafted scenarios push you across a wide range of real conditions: a free-flow calibration run, a punishing four-way saturation test, an asymmetric peak-hour rush, a left-turn overload, a pedestrian-phase interrupt, a sudden lane closure, and more. Every scenario tracks your personal best, grades each run A through E against a target score, and stores a full telemetry log so you can learn from every attempt. The signal plan editor lets you drag phase order, dial in green and amber durations, and set a cycle offset across up to six phases. The lane rules editor gives you per-lane control over permitted movements, speed cap, inflow rate, and driver politeness. A fundamental diagram canvas and a scrubbable timeline chart then reveal exactly what your edits did to flow and density. Six expandable primer cards explain the real physics behind car-following gaps, green-wave offsets, and saturation flow so every decision you make is grounded in genuine traffic science. No account required, no internet needed, no ads, no in-app purchases. Everything runs fully on-device. Runs are deterministic: the same plan and lane rules always produce the same result, so improving your grade is a matter of engineering skill, not luck.Read more
