About

A closer look, after the outdoors. TickScanner brings a magnified camera view and guided checklists to your after-outdoors routine. Use it as a visual aid when checking skin or fur, and take your time with areas that are easy to overlook. LOOK CLOSER Use the rear camera with up to 4x zoom. Switch between original color and an inverted scan view, then adjust contrast and brightness to explore the image. Use good lighting and keep the camera in focus. FREEZE AND COMPARE Pause a frame and revisit it in History. Compare scan and original color before choosing to share an image. Frozen frames stay in the current app session; clear them at any time. BUILD A CHECKING ROUTINE Follow separate checklists for kids and pets. Mark areas as you check them, see your progress, and reset for a new check. The Guide works without camera permission. REFERENCE INFORMATION Read about common North American tick species and open trusted CDC resources for prevention and what to do after a bite. Compare markings in original color, because scan mode changes colors. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, ads, analytics, or tracking. Camera images are processed on your iPhone and are not uploaded. You control which images you share. IMPORTANT TickScanner does not automatically detect ticks, identify species, diagnose conditions, or assess medical risk. A completed checklist cannot rule out a tick bite. Seek professional medical advice after a tick bite, especially if symptoms develop. Intended for adults checking themselves, children, or pets.
