The Culture Factor

Fifty years of research on cultural difference, in a form you can use before your next meeting. COMPARE COUNTRIES Put up to four countries side by side across the six dimensions of national culture, and see which differences are large enough to matter. The scores come from The Culture Factor Group's own research. SEE WHERE YOU STAND Answer the Culture Compass questionnaire and read your own profile against any country you choose. You see which of your answers differ most from that country's pattern, and what that tends to look like day to day — as a manager, a colleague, a negotiator, someone teaching, or simply as yourself. ASK THE COACH The Coach is our own intercultural AI. It knows your profile and the country you are comparing yourself with, and answers in that context: how to give critical feedback, what will surprise you in your first week, where your style may be misread. Its answers are grounded in The Culture Factor's research rather than the open internet. EXPLORE THE MAP Colour the world by any dimension, or by culture cluster, and see which societies resemble each other and which do not. LEARN THE MODEL Background articles explain the six dimensions and where the numbers come from, alongside the latest writing from our researchers. HONEST ABOUT WHAT A QUESTIONNAIRE CAN TELL YOU Your results appear as bands rather than exact numbers. For one person, this instrument distinguishes broad positions reliably and precise scores not at all, and we would rather say so than imply more accuracy than there is. WHAT IS INCLUDED Country comparison, the map, the culture clusters, the articles and a short version of the questionnaire are free. One purchase unlocks the full 42-question profile, every cluster topic and the advice for all six roles. The Coach is a subscription, because each answer has a running cost — the first few answers are free, so you can try it before you decide. MADE FOR ONE PERSON This app reads your own profile against one country at a time. Team assessments, organisational culture scans and group programmes are consulting work and stay with our practitioners: theculturefactor.com/contact-us YOUR ANSWERS STAY WITH YOU No account, no sign-up. Your questionnaire answers are scored and stored on your device. The Coach sends only what it needs to answer the question you asked. The Culture Factor Group, formerly Hofstede Insights, has worked with organisations on culture since 1985. The six dimensions come from Geert Hofstede's research and the decades of data collection that followed it. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
