About
Remotly brings the terminal sessions on your own computer to your iPhone or iPad. Follow your coding agents, respond to supported approval requests, and send prompts and keystrokes while you are away from your desk. With Remotly you can: • Read live terminal output and scrollback. • Send prompts, terminal keys, and photo attachments to your computer. • Approve or deny supported coding-agent permission requests. • Receive notifications when an agent needs your attention or finishes. • Open new terminal sessions and adjust text size and scrolling. Remotly is a companion app for herdr and remotly-bridge running on your own Linux computer. Set up the bridge, connect your devices through Tailscale, and pair by scanning a QR code. Your terminal sessions and coding tools continue to run on your computer. The app does not include or host a coding agent. Use your existing tools and any accounts or subscriptions they require. Terminal traffic travels directly between your device and your bridge. Push notifications normally use the Remotly relay and Apple's notification service; notification excerpts are enabled by default and can be disabled in the bridge configuration.
