About

Pixel Samy HQ is where you hand us your footage, watch every edit move from brief to delivered, and approve the finished cut from your phone. Pixel Samy is a video-editing and content agency run by Samy (Saumyajit Maity), and we cut short-form and long-form for coaches, founders and creators. For a long time every edit lived across email threads, shared-folder links, chat voice notes and a review link somebody lost, and nobody, not the client and not my editors, could answer the simple question of where a video is right now, so I built this. One login, and every request you have ever sent us sits in it with a status you can actually trust. BRIEF On Home, tap Request an edit. Pick footage from your camera roll, film it on the spot, or paste a link to footage already online, then write the brief once: the type of edit (there are 10), priority, deadline, sizes across 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9, length and references. Save it as a draft or send it. If it is not a request yet, tap Record a thought and say it as a voice note, and the team scripts it in the Content studio, where any idea becomes a request with one tap. EDIT Videos lists every request under Needs your review, In progress, Approved and scheduled, Posted and Drafts, and each one shows an expected delivery date worked out from your plan's turnaround, so you know where a piece sits without asking anyone. When a cut is ready, your phone tells you. REVIEW Open the request and the cut plays in a player built for feedback. Pause on the second that needs work and leave a comment there, and it becomes a marker on the timeline that you and the editor tap to jump back to, so nobody types "at around 0:43" again. Each round arrives as a new version, so v1, v2 and v3 sit side by side in tabs. Share for review creates a guest link that opens that one version in a browser, valid for 1 to 90 days and revocable any time. APPROVE When the cut is right you tap Approve, and when it is not you tap Request changes and send your notes. The revision counter shows how many rounds your plan has left, and the moment you approve, the video is ready for the queue. POST The Posting queue holds your approved videos cycle by cycle, with the title, post date, platforms, hook and caption for each. The Calendar tab shows the month at a glance, and Needs approval plays the final post inline so you can approve or reject it there. You edit the hook and the caption, the agency owns the dates. Around the loop: Chat with your editing team in one thread, with attachments, read markers and a push when they reply. Files keeps raw footage, brand assets, deliverables and voice notes in folders, with previews. Analytics shows views, likes, comments, shares, saves and follows per post, logged by the team, with engagement rate and top performers over 30, 90 or 365 days. Journey is your 12-step onboarding checklist, ticked off as things happen. Your team lists the account manager, lead editor and strategist. Billing shows your plan, revisions and turnaround, plus every invoice with a pay link that opens outside the app. Brand kit holds your audience, tone, pillars, colours, fonts and dos and don'ts. Native on iPhone: push notifications when a cut is ready or the team replies, camera and microphone capture straight into a request, the share sheet on every request, links from email that open the right page in the app, and light, dark or system appearance. A few things are left out on purpose. The app does not connect to your social accounts, it does not auto-publish anything, the numbers in Analytics are entered by hand, and payments happen on the pay link attached to your invoice rather than inside the app. Accounts are created by the agency, so there is no sign-up screen. If you are a Pixel Samy client without a login yet, ask your account manager for an invite, and if you are not a client yet, pixelsamy.com is where that conversation starts.
