About
The date, time and place are on the photo. The photo is not altered otherwise. Datescribe is a timestamp camera for people whose photo is evidence for a job — trades, inspection, insurance claims, property. Capture as you shoot, or stamp photos you already have. Originals are not changed. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT IS BURNED IN The live preview shows the stamp before you press the shutter: date, time, coordinates, and the street address when the network allows. If geocoding fails, the coordinates stay and the shutter still works. PHOTOS YOU ALREADY TOOK Batch-stamp existing photos using each photo’s own capture date — never today’s date. A visible count of succeeded and failed, and a name for every failure. A killed run resumes. Originals are never modified or deleted; stamped copies land in a Datescribe album. THE PHOTO IS NOT WRECKED Stamping keeps the source colour profile (Display P3 stays Display P3), EXIF, and GPS. Capture mode can also write the place into the file’s own data; you can turn that off. Library mode never invents a location. NO ADS. NO SUBSCRIPTION. NO ACCOUNT. Datescribe is free. Capture and library stamping are unlimited, at full quality, with no watermark. Datescribe does not claim photos are tamper-proof, certified, or court-admissible. The honest claim is the date, time and place are on the photo, and the photo is not altered otherwise.Read more

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT IS BURNED IN
The live preview shows the stamp before you press the shutter: date, time, coordinates, and the street address when the network allows. If geocoding fails, the coordinates stay and the shutter still works.
PHOTOS YOU ALREADY TOOK
Batch-stamp existing photos using each photo’s own capture date — never today’s date. A visible count of succeeded and failed, and a name for every failure. A killed run resumes. Originals are never modified or deleted; stamped copies land in a Datescribe album.
THE PHOTO IS NOT WRECKED
Stamping keeps the source colour profile (Display P3 stays Display P3), EXIF, and GPS.
The honest claim is the date, time and place are on the photo, and the photo is not altered otherwise.
