Doses in the units on your own chemicals. Most pool apps hand you a number for a product you do not own. This one asks what is on your shelf. Type the strength printed on the jug — 73 percent, 31.45 percent, 12.5 percent, whatever the label says — and the dose comes back in grams or millilitres of that jug. Any brand, any concentration, including the one nobody's dropdown has. Side effects of every dose. Cal hypo raises chlorine, and it also raises calcium hardness and alkalinity. Acid lowers pH, and it takes alkalinity with it. Dichlor adds stabilizer every time you shock. Each step in the plan carries the numbers for what else it moves, worked out from the same arithmetic as the dose itself, so nothing here is a sentence somebody typed once and forgot to correct. Six readings on one sheet. Free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, stabilizer and salt sit side by side as six bands, each drawn with its target range lit and your measurement inside it or outside it. Tap a band and type that reading. No page changes, no back and forth. A plan in order, not a pile of numbers. Alkalinity first, then pH, then hardness, stabilizer and salt, and chlorine last. A wait is inserted wherever acid and chlorine would otherwise land together, a single acid step is capped, and a pH step is capped and always ends in a retest. When nothing you can add will help. Stabilizer, hardness and salt only come down by replacing water. The plan says how many litres to swap and takes your fill water's own hardness into account, rather than treating an over-range reading as an error.
