ABOUT OAK BAY Oak Bay is the official app of Oak Bay Sushi Bar & Asian Fusion, with branches in Alexandria and Cairo, Egypt. Guests browse menus, order delivery or collection, track deliveries and collect loyalty points. Prices and availability vary by branch. There is no marketplace or user-generated content. GUEST ACCESS AND SIGN-IN Tap CONTINUE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT to browse the menu freely. Sign-in is required for account-based actions such as ordering, rewards, order history and profile management. Normal sign-in uses an Egyptian mobile number and SMS code. The review accounts below require no SMS: 1. Tap I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT on the welcome screen. 2. Tap "Sign in with a username and password instead". 3. Enter the relevant credentials below. CUSTOMER ACCOUNT Username: customer Password: 12345678 Access: menu, ordering, order history, points, rewards, QR loyalty card and daily game. Delivery order #14 belongs to this account and is linked to the driver below. Open it from Orders to view its status and tracking screen. DRIVER ACCOUNT - PRE-POPULATED DELIVERY Username: driver Password: 12345678 This opens the staff Deliveries screen, not the customer app. Order #14 is already assigned with status ON THE WAY. It contains an order item, a customer and an address with a map pin. No new order or staff dispatch is needed to begin testing. This delivery has no automatic expiry or daily reset and can be opened outside ordering hours. It stays in the active queue until completed, cancelled or reassigned. It is labelled REVIEW TEST - DO NOT PREPARE OR DELIVER. No real payment or physical food delivery is required. DRIVER TEST STEPS 1. Sign in as driver. Order #14 appears in Deliveries. Pull down to refresh if needed. 2. With this ON THE WAY run active, the app requests location access. Allow While Using the App, then Always/background access when offered. If denied or Always is not offered, check iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Oak Bay. Enable location and Always for the background test. Previously granted access may not prompt again. 3. Open #14 to view the customer and destination. Navigation buttons open the pinned destination in Google Maps or Apple Maps. The detail screen also has Mark delivered. 4. On a second device, sign in as customer and open #14's tracking screen. Keep driver signed in on the first device. With location services and internet available, wait for the driver's position to appear on the customer map. 5. On the driver's physical device, switch to navigation or lock the screen, then move the device. Background location lets the customer follow the driver while Oak Bay is not foregrounded. Updates depend on movement; a stationary device may not visibly move on the map. The app enables the iOS background-location indicator. Do not force-quit the driver app: force-quitting stops updates. 6. Test Mark delivered LAST. Confirming it completes the run, removes it from the active queue and ends tracking once the queue refreshes. This is expected, not missing demo content. BACKGROUND LOCATION PURPOSE Used only for signed-in drivers with an assigned ON THE WAY delivery. Customers are not asked for background access; optional foreground location helps pin their delivery addresses. Sharing stops when the app detects no active run, and the driver's live-location record is cleared. WAITER ACCOUNT Username: waiter Password: 12345678 Opens the staff QR scanner. Display the customer's loyalty QR on another device to test scanning for bill points or reward collection. Camera access is used for QR scanning. ORDERING AND DATA New delivery orders: 1pm-11pm Cairo time; collection is available outside that window. Delivery needs a pinned address; collection does not.
