Nightfan turns your iPhone into an offline sleep sound machine, with steady masking sounds and calming ambience for your nightstand. WHY NIGHTFAN SOUNDS BETTER Short audio loops can reveal their seam through a dip or restart. Nightfan's noise, fan and machine sounds, five rain and storm environments, and waterfall are generated live instead of using audio loops. Its recorded sounds use loops prepared with crossfaded seams. Most sounds are loudness-matched for smoother switching; the nursery lullaby is intentionally softer. THE SOUNDS YOU ACTUALLY NEED 1. Deep Brown Noise: Low-end, waterfall-like rumble. 2. Enclosure Fan: The mechanical fan sound of the classic bedside enclosure. 3. Heavy Box Fan: Nostalgic bedroom floor fan hum. 4. Velvet Pink Noise: Soft 1/f spectrum with an even hush. 5. Airplane Cabin: Pressurized cabin drone. 6. Shush, Soft Breath, Warm Hum & Nursery Lullaby: Three sounds recorded in our own studio, plus a music box lullaby for the nursery. 7. Rain and storm, six ways: Tin roof, window, tent, car, distant thunder and rolling thunder. 8. Surf, Stream, Wind, Hearth, Crickets, Cafe, Birds. Nightfan helps you check: play the sound on a device in the nursery, place this iPhone where your baby's head will be while the crib is empty, and read an estimated sound-level range against your chosen limit. To check Nightfan's own sound, play it on a second device; the measuring iPhone pauses playback while using its microphone. Audio is analyzed in memory and never saved or transmitted.
