About
Spanwise is a habit tracker built around the two things most of them get wrong. GOALS ARE MEASURED IN PERIODS, NOT DAYS "Four times a week" means four times a week. Miss Tuesday and nothing breaks — the week still has room for it. Most apps run a weekly goal on daily logic, which is why streaks get lost for no reason at all. Here a week simply is the period, and a streak counts weeks. A monthly goal counts months. A three-times-a-day goal counts days. SYNC THAT DOES NOT LOSE THINGS Sync goes through your own iCloud. Log on one iPhone, pick it up on another. Go offline for a week and log the whole time. Nothing is ever overwritten and nothing is ever deleted — when two devices disagree, both are kept and the higher count wins. That is a property of how the data is stored, not a promise in a marketing line. A FEW THINGS IT WILL NEVER DO No streak-loss screen. No red. No confetti and no fanfare. You can set a reminder on a habit, and it is the only notification the app sends — it stays quiet on any day you have already logged and on any period you have already finished, so it never arrives to ask where you have been. A skipped day counts toward the period rather than costing you one, because skipping something on purpose is not the same as failing at it. When a run does end, the number resets quietly and your best stays exactly where it is. THE COIN Every habit is a circle cut into as many pieces as its goal. One tap fills one. Four times a week is four wedges; thirty times a month is thirty. You can read a whole screen of habits without reading a single number. WHAT IT COSTS One payment, here at the App Store, and that is the whole of it. There is no subscription, no free tier with a limit, and nothing inside the app is for sale — no in-app purchases at all, and nothing is upsold to you later. Everything above is included: iCloud sync between your devices, reminders, every kind of goal, as many habits as you want to keep going at once, and your whole history. Privacy Policy: https://marbas-dev.github.io/spanwise/privacy.html IPHONE ONLY, FOR NOW This version is built for iPhone. It will install on an iPad and run at iPhone size, but no iPad layout has been designed — every card dimension and column rule in it was worked out against a phone in portrait. An iPad version is real work rather than a checkbox, and it is not done. Saying so here beats letting you find out after paying. PRIVACY There is no account, because there is nothing to sign up for. Your habits live on your device and in your own iCloud — end to end encrypted, so the pattern of your days is not readable by us or anyone else. We run no server. There is no analytics, no tracking, and not a single third-party SDK in the app.Read more

GOALS ARE MEASURED IN PERIODS, NOT DAYS
"Four times a week" means four times a week.
SYNC THAT DOES NOT LOSE THINGS
Sync goes through your own iCloud. Log on one iPhone, pick it up on another. Go offline for a week and log the whole time. Nothing is ever overwritten and nothing is ever deleted — when two devices disagree, both are kept and the higher count wins. That is a property of how the data is stored, not a promise in a marketing line.
A FEW THINGS IT WILL NEVER DO
No streak-loss screen. No red. No confetti and no fanfare. You can set a reminder on a habit, and it is the only notification the app sends — it stays quiet on any day you have already logged and on any period you have already finished, so it never arrives to ask where you have been. THE COIN
Every habit is a circle cut into as many pieces as its goal. One tap fills one. Four times a week is four wedges; thirty times a month is thirty. You can read a whole screen of habits without reading a single number.
