About

Servery is menu planning, allergen safety and food costing for Australian early childhood education and care services. It is built for the person actually doing the job: the centre cook, on an iPad propped on a stainless bench. PLAN THE WEEK Copy last week and adjust what changed. Cost per child per day updates as you go, so you find out you are over budget while you can still do something about it. THE ALLERGY RAIL Every child with a dietary requirement sits in a strip beneath the menu. It stays quiet until you place something one of them cannot eat — then it flares, names the child, and offers the swap in the same breath. It is the laminated card above the bench, made live. A CONFLICT ALWAYS COMES WITH A FIX Swap the ingredient, or record a separate plate. Either way it is a decision that reaches the kitchen prep sheet — never a dismiss button. A week with an unresolved conflict cannot be published. KITCHEN TODAY One day, one screen, type you can read at arm's length with wet hands. Prep times, serve counts, and who needs their own plate, where it cannot be missed. THE EVIDENCE PACK A dated PDF you can hand to an authorised officer: the menu as planned, an allergen matrix of every child against every day, nutrition coverage against your own state's guideline, and a timestamped record of every change. Included at every price level, because it is the reason to subscribe. EVERY STATE AND TERRITORY There is no national standard for what a service must put on the menu. Each state publishes different figures, and the same week can pass in one and fail in another. Servery carries all of them and prints which one it used, along with where those figures came from. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Servery checks the dishes you have planned against the requirements you have recorded. It cannot know about an allergen nobody entered, an ingredient nobody tagged, or a supplier reformulation. It is a second pair of eyes on your records, not a substitute for the first. Nutrition coverage is marked provisional until an Accredited Practising Dietitian has reviewed the recipe library. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR IPAD No account, no server, nothing sent anywhere. Children's names, allergies and management plan dates are stored in the app's private storage and encrypted while the device is locked. There is no backup in this version, so export anything you are required to keep. One subscription covers one approved service and as many iPads as it needs. Nexcentric Pty Ltd, Queensland.Read more
