About
Tabak turns a photo of your plate into a calorie and macro entry in your food diary. Point the camera at your meal and Tabak recognizes the dish, then estimates its calories, protein, carbs and fat. The result arrives as an editable list: rename the dish, pick one of the suggested names, correct an ingredient, change the grams, delete what isn't there, add what is. The estimate is a starting point you control, not a verdict. TWO READERS - Plate: capture a whole meal and get a dish name with an ingredient breakdown. - Product label: capture a nutrition table and read energy, protein, carbs, sugar, fat, saturated fat and salt. Switch between per 100 g, per 100 ml, per serving and per package when the label gives those figures. - Photos already in your library work too. Reading a photo needs an internet connection. YOUR DIARY - Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, with a daily calorie total and a macro split. - Search a built-in food list that works offline, or type a food in yourself once and reuse it any time. - Favorites and a recents list, so the meals you repeat take two taps. WATER AND WEIGHT - Log glasses of water against a daily goal, with a weekly chart. One glass counts as 250 ml. - Log your weight and follow the chart: where you started, where you are now, how far is left. - Look back over a week, a month or three months: days on target, average macros and the foods you added most. YOUR DAILY GOAL Tabak calculates a daily calorie goal from your height, weight, age, sex and the pace you pick, and you can override the number and the macro split by hand whenever you want. APPLE HEALTH Connect Apple Health and today's steps and workout energy appear in your diary. Tabak only reads from Health. It never writes anything back. HONEST ABOUT THE NUMBERS Calories from a photo are estimates. A photo cannot weigh a portion, so Tabak recognizes what it sees and estimates a typical serving. Tabak is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. PRIVACY Your diary, your weight and your water log stay on this device. Tabak has no meal sync and never uploads them. Reading a photo is the exception: that one image is sent to Tabak's own server, which reads it and sends an estimate back to your phone. That is why reading a photo needs a connection. An account is optional and is used only to sign in. Export all of your data as a file whenever you like, and delete your account and everything on the device from inside the app. No ads and no advertising trackers, on either plan. Alerts appear as cards inside the app. Tabak does not send push notifications. FREE AND PREMIUM Free: 3 photo readings a day. Everything else is included: both readers, the diary, offline search, manual entry, favorites, water, weight, the charts, the summaries, data export and the Apple Health connection. Premium: raises the photo readings to 60 a day. That is the only difference. Available in English, Turkish and German. Built for iPhone. SUBSCRIPTION Tabak Premium is available as a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your App Store account settings.
