About
Shrine Surge is a single-player puzzle that runs only on this device. There is no account, no sign-in, no network, no purchases, and no advertising. The board is five tiles wide and four tiles tall. On a turn you move your piece to an empty tile that shares a side with it. Diagonal steps are not allowed. Filled tiles cannot be entered. After the move, empty tiles that touch both your piece and already filled tiles become filled. The goal is to stop on the goal tile before the move count reaches zero and before filled tiles close every way forward. Each court has its own move limit and one special action. That action pushes filled tiles back from your piece by one step and still costs a move. Courts open one after another. A finished court stores its lowest move count on this device. The first launch shows a short three-page guide. The guide can be skipped. After that, a list shows every court, whether it is open or finished, and the best count for each finished court. From that list you can open a written rules page, open a practice board, or open settings. Practice runs do not change saved best counts. On the practice board you can place a few marks to plan a route, then start a practice run. Settings include volume, haptics, and a reset of local data after a confirm. The interface is English and stays in portrait. Progress, practice marks, and settings stay on this iPhone.Read more
