About
Moonbridge is provided by your therapy practice. It is not a replacement for your clinician and it does not provide therapy. Between appointments, you can talk with a companion your practice has set up for you. It is AI. It is not a person and not a licensed professional, and it tells you so. Your clinician decides what it supports you with and reviews what you choose to share. WHAT IT IS A place to put what comes up at whatever hour it comes up, so that it is not lost by the time you next sit down with your clinician. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO It does not diagnose you. It does not hand you a treatment plan. It does not direct your medication. Anything clinical goes to your clinician, who decides. WHO CAN SEE WHAT Your conversation with the companion is private: your clinician cannot routinely browse it. Save for session lets you choose exact words, add context, and confirm who receives them; only that confirmed version is shared, not the rest of the conversation. If your practice enables clinical observations under your sharing agreement, the agreement names the clinicians who receive them, and they are inputs to your clinician's judgment, not a diagnosis. If a reply is harmful or confusing, you can send a concern report to your clinician, and you review it before it goes. If a conversation suggests you are in danger, a safety record and limited context can reach your treating clinician or covering staff under your practice's protocol; that is not access to your full conversation. Messages you send directly to your care team are read by them. Your private journal stays out of your care team's routine view. If your practice turns on its acute safety exception and something you write signals serious risk, selected sentences or the whole entry may be shared so a person can reach you. The app tells you whether that exception is on. Practice administrators and front desk see how the practice runs, not your words. Your conversations, journal and files are records your practice holds; marking something private does not create legal privilege, and a court can require records. BEFORE ANYTHING IS SENT The first time you open the companion, the app shows you the consent to AI-supported care and the privacy policy. They say which AI model is used, who runs it, and what is sent to produce a reply. Nothing is sent until you agree, and you can reread both from Account at any time. IF YOU ARE IN CRISIS Call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. Moonbridge screens for crisis and routes to 988 and to your practice's own protocol, and that cannot be switched off. GETTING IN Moonbridge is available through participating practices. You need an invitation from yours to sign in. There is no public sign-up.Read more

WHAT IT IS
A place to put what comes up at whatever hour it comes up, so that it is not lost by the time you next sit down with your clinician.
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
It does not diagnose you. It does not hand you a treatment plan. It does not direct your medication. Anything clinical goes to your clinician, who decides.
WHO CAN SEE WHAT
Your conversation with the companion is private: your clinician cannot routinely browse it.
