Your table plays. When something worth keeping happens, someone taps the seal and says it. When the night ends, Previously tells the story back: one recap your whole table can read and hear before you meet again. AT THE TABLE Tap the seal and say one line: who fell, what was found, the name of the innkeeper. Or type it. A clip stops itself at one minute, and nothing is recorded until someone taps. Recording your voice is opt-in, and anyone at the table can type a moment instead. WHEN THE NIGHT ENDS When the session ends, the recap is written from the moments your table captured. The game master reads it first, fixes anything that is wrong, teaches the narrator how to say your names, and sends it. Everyone is notified, and the recap is read aloud in the narrator's voice the game master picks for the table, with music that follows the mood of each scene. It closes on where you left off, and on the night's honours when someone earned one. BETWEEN SESSIONS The cast gathers the people, places, items and factions your recaps have named, along with the story's open questions, carried from one recap to the next. Search it the moment someone asks who that merchant was. Set the date of the next session and get a reminder the day before. YOUR CHARACTER Build your character: class, ancestry, face, hair, gear and a coat of arms. Your figure stands on the home screen and your crest flies over the keep. Sessions played earn new gear, and your class decides what. Share your character as a card. YOUR TABLE Start a table for the campaign you run and invite players with a link. A player who never installs the app can still have a seat, so the recap names their character. Anyone at the table can share a recap they can read by link, and the page reads and plays in any browser. The game master can post each new recap's link to the table's Discord channel. Anyone can report a member or a recap, and the game master can remove or block a player. Previously works with any game system: no rules, no stat blocks, no dice. RECORD THE WHOLE NIGHT The game master can record the whole session on their own phone, even with the screen locked, and tap to mark a moment as it happens. It starts only after everyone who has joined the table in the app has agreed there, and it stays off while any of them is under 18. A player seated without the app must say yes out loud first, and the game master confirms it. A game master's first six hours of recording are free. With Plus, each game master gets 20 hours a month. PREVIOUSLY PLUS Every table keeps the recaps of its three most recent sessions free, forever. Previously Plus keeps every recap, adds whole-session recording, tells the story so far as one recap, and tells the whole story when a campaign ends. The game master subscribes, and every table they run opens for everyone at it, so players never need their own subscription to read or hear their table's recaps. Plus also unlocks the finest gear for each class, for the subscriber's own character. Previously Plus is an auto-renewing subscription: $4.99 a week, or $49.99 a year (US prices). The yearly plan starts with 14 days free for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that period ends.
