About
Roughly Calories is a calorie tracker that feels like a note, not a dashboard. Point the camera at your plate, say or type what you ate, or scan a barcode. Roughly estimates calories and macros, you confirm with one tap, and you're done. No account, no feed, no streaks. Your entries stay on your phone. The estimate is deliberately rough and honestly labelled. A photo gets a typical day within about twenty percent — enough to see where you stand without weighing everything. WHAT YOU GET • Photo: take a picture, adjust the amount if it looks off, done • Speech: say what you ate, including the amount • Text: type what you ate, like “150 g of skyr with berries” • Search and barcode: Open Food Facts, no AI involved • Manual entry, always, also offline • Today at a glance, history by day • A daily goal from your weight, your direction and your activity WHAT YOU DON'T GET No social features, no recipe browsing, no micronutrient tables, no badges. And no nutrition advice: Roughly estimates, it doesn't recommend. FREE AND PREMIUM Three AI entries a day are free, one of them by photo. Premium raises that to thirty a day, up to ten of them by photo; the yearly plan starts with a free trial. Manual entry, search and barcode are always unlimited. PRIVACY No account. Photos and descriptions are sent for the estimate; we don't store them. Your meals, weight and goal never leave your phone. One screen for every estimate: photo, speech and text now end on the same confirmation screen. After speech or text, “Change the sentence” corrects the estimate for the same meal without using another AI entry. Is the amount right? Below each estimate, pick ½, ¾, as is, 1½ or 2×, each with its weight. This replaces the portion sizes. Less is recalculated on the spot; more gets a fresh estimate while the meal has one left. Manual entry: an optional amount field with − and + replaces the portion sizes. Numbers you type yourself are never recalculated. Fixed: after reinstalling the app, AI estima…
