About
Most Australians never find out they were underpaid. Not because it's rare — because checking is genuinely hard. Your rate depends on which award or agreement covers you, your classification, your length of service, and what you actually worked that fortnight. A payslip shows almost none of that. PayCheckup does the working out. SCAN A PAYSLIP, GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER Photograph your payslip and PayCheckup reads it. You confirm every line before anything is used — nothing goes in without your say-so. It then works out which award or agreement covered you for that pay period, at your level, and checks what you were paid against what was required. BUILT ON THE ACTUAL RULES PayCheckup holds the pay rules from more than a hundred modern awards and a growing set of registered enterprise agreements, versioned by the dates they were in force. A check run against a July payslip uses July's rates, not today's. IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT CAN'T TELL This is the part most tools skip. If your coverage is unclear, or a line can't be read, or the rules don't settle the question, PayCheckup says "can't verify" instead of inventing a number. A wrong all-clear is the one mistake you'd never find out about, so reassurance always comes with what it rests on. RAISE IT, AND CONFIRM IT WAS ACTUALLY FIXED Finding a shortfall is half the job. PayCheckup helps you write a plain, professional query to your employer — you send it yourself, from your own email, and you can adapt it. Then scan your next payslip and it checks the correction: did back pay arrive, was it the right amount, is your rate right going forward, and did super come with it. Super on back pay is the piece most often quietly left off, and you can't see it on a payslip. Nothing closes itself. PayCheckup shows you the arithmetic; you decide. LOG YOUR SHIFTS A record kept at the time carries real weight. If your employer's records fall short, the law puts the onus on them — and your own log is what fills the gap. IT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Your payslips, your shifts and anything you raise are worked out and stored on your device. They are never uploaded to us. There is no account and no login. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone whose pay has moving parts — penalty rates, loadings, allowances, overtime, or a salary meant to absorb them. Retail, hospitality, care, warehousing, nursing, clerical, and plenty besides. IMPORTANT PayCheckup is a guidance tool, not legal advice, and it is not affiliated with the Fair Work Ombudsman or the Fair Work Commission. It gives you an informed starting point and the evidence to have the conversation. For a formal determination, speak to the Fair Work Ombudsman, your union, or a workplace lawyer. SCAN A PAYSLIP, GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER
Photograph your payslip and PayCheckup reads it. You confirm every line before anything is used — nothing goes in without your say-so. It then works out which award or agreement covered you for that pay period, at your level, and checks what you were paid against what was required.
BUILT ON THE ACTUAL RULES
PayCheckup holds the pay rules from more than a hundred modern awards and a growing set of registered enterprise agreements, versioned by the dates they were in force. A check run against a July payslip uses July's rates, not today's.
IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT CAN'T TELL

RAISE IT, AND CONFIRM IT WAS ACTUALLY FIXED
Finding a shortfall is half the job.

WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone whose pay has moving parts — penalty rates, loadings, allowances, overtime, or a salary meant to absorb them. Retail, hospitality, care, warehousing, nursing, clerical, and plenty besides.

A simpler start: new installs now open with a short introduction and then take you straight to your own payslips. The sample payslip no longer appears on the first screen. New: see how your pay compares. From the Payslips screen, compare your hourly pay with the levels in your award and, where available, with Australian Bureau of Statistics pay data for similar jobs. It all stays on your phone.
