About
One kettlebell. A clock you can read from the floor. A chalkboard that counts your sets. Not for beginners: it reminds, it doesn't teach. Learn the lifts, then come back. SingleBell is a kettlebell practice app for people who train with a single kettlebell and would rather not think about their phone once the set starts. Four tabs: Today for the day's one practice, Build to make your own, Library for what you keep, Search over all of it. TODAY'S PRACTICE One full board, dealt fresh each morning: a warm-up, a kettlebell complex around the day's lift, a bodyweight finisher. Clean & press, one-arm swings, the snatch — the lift you have practised least recently leads, and a snatch day waits until you have logged a swing day. Rest when you decide to: the week under the card shows what it has had. Short (about 20 minutes) or Standard (about 35). Tap Light, Right or Heavy when you finish and the next board led by that lift adds or drops a set. The day is dealt once and holds until midnight. DAY ONE New to the bell? Today opens on ten minutes of swings: three sets at your own pace, a minute between them, one form cue at a time, ending on how the swing is done. Every move in the app has a sheet like that — what it is, four cues, the mistakes to watch for — one tap from anywhere the move is named. KETTLEBELL CLASSICS The protocols the kettlebell world already runs, each credited on its own board and adjustable before you start: Simple & Sinister, The Quick and the Dead, Kettlebell AXE, Armor Building Complex, Humane Burpee, Rite of Passage, and the Simple & Sinister warm-up. Every card opens a chalkboard first — the practice written on slate, its timing stated, warm up first if you want. Nothing starts by accident. THE BUILDER Blocks, each a complex of moves in the order you chalk them. One question per block — own pace, the whole block on one clock (Tabata, EMOM, AMRAP), or each move on its own clock as stations — and every number dialled, not picked off a list. Plain intervals too: work and rest in rounds, rounds in sets. Save what is worth repeating. A ROOM YOU CAN READ FROM THE FLOOR Huge digits. The whole room changes temperature with the phase — warm for work, cool for rest — so you know where you are with the text blurred out. Beeps that cut through music and keep playing when the screen locks, a voice that names each block if you want it, a clock that survives a phone call or the app being closed. Turn the phone on its side and the room turns with it. The finish happens where the practice was: put the bell down, say how it felt. THE PRACTICE OFF THE SCREEN The running practice is on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with Pause and Skip or Set done. Pair an Apple Watch and the same card is in your Smart Stack — phase, clock, movement and the two controls under a thumb that never leaves the wrist, with nothing to install on the watch. Two home-screen widgets show today's board and the week. Say "Start today's practice" to Siri, or put it on the Action Button. Mirror the phone to a TV and the clock gets a room drawn for that screen. NOTHING LEAVES THE PHONE No account. No sign-in. No analytics. No network code at all — the app cannot send anything anywhere. It remembers your settings, the practices you save, the last few you ran and which days you finished one, all on your phone, all gone with the app. Requires iOS 18. The Smart Stack card needs a paired Apple Watch on watchOS 11. Train within your ability, and stop if a rep feels wrong.Read more

TODAY'S PRACTICE
One full board, dealt fresh each morning: a warm-up, a kettlebell complex around the day's lift, a bodyweight finisher. Bug fixes and improvements. The room says what comes next. In The Quick and the Dead, each set and the rest are named in turn, and the tally counts your sets as you do them. The count at the top of the room matches the practice on every Classic. Undo on a paused clock now restarts the interval it lands on. And a new icon: the bell in glass, made for iOS 26.
