About
Bridge is for the people you love — a partner, a parent, a sibling, a friend — when you are safe with each other and still keep having the same argument. You each write privately, in your own words, about what happened. Bridge reads it back to you in one sentence, so you can say "yes, that's it" or "not quite, let me add." Then it drafts a message in your name that keeps what you meant and drops the parts that only land as blame. You read the draft, rewrite it if you want, and send it yourself. They never see what you first wrote. Only what it meant. Both messages are delivered together, so nobody replies to something the other was not ready to send. Each of you attaches one concrete, bounded request. When you have both read, you each write a short commitment, and Bridge writes a shared summary the two of you confirm. You can pair with more than one person. Each pairing is its own private channel — what you write with your mother is never visible to your partner, and nothing crosses between them. What Bridge is not - It is not therapy, it does not diagnose anything, and nothing it writes is professional advice. - It is not for a relationship where one of you is afraid of the other. The app says so before you start, and crisis resources are one tap away on every screen, signed in or not. How your words are handled - The translating is done by an AI model made by Anthropic. Bridge tells you this before you write anything, and again if you have been away a while. - Your own writing is stored encrypted and is only ever shown to you. - Voice input becomes text on your phone. If the phone cannot do that on its own, Bridge turns voice off rather than send audio anywhere. - You can export everything that is yours, and you can delete your account from Settings. Also inside - Short exercises you can do alone or together, with generic, evidence-informed framing. - An optional link to a therapist you already work with, who sees patterns, never words. The first conversation is free. One subscription covers every pairing you are in, and a pairing is covered if either of you holds it.Read more
Bridge is for the people you love — a partner, a parent, a sibling, a friend —
when you are safe with each other and still keep having the same argument.
You each write privately, in your own words, about what happened. Bridge reads
it back to you in one sentence, so you can say "yes, that's it" or "not quite,
let me add." Then it drafts a message in your name that keeps what you meant
and drops the parts that only land as blame. You read the draft, rewrite it if
you want, and send it yourself. They never see what you first wrote. Only what
it meant.
Both messages are delivered together, so nobody replies to something the other
was not ready to send. Each of you attaches one concrete, bounded request. When
you have both read, you each write a short commitment, and Bridge writes a
shared summary the two of you confirm.
You can pair with more than one person. Each pairing is its own private
channel — what you write with your mother is never visible to your partner, and
nothing crosses between them.
What Bridge is not
- It is not therapy, it does not diagnose anything, and nothing it writes is
professional advice.
- It is not for a relationship where one of you is afraid of the other. The app
says so before you start, and crisis resources are one tap away on every
screen, signed in or not.
How your words are handled
- The translating is done by an AI model made by Anthropic. Bridge tells you
this before you write anything, and again if you have been away a while.
- Your own writing is stored encrypted and is only ever shown to you.
- Voice input becomes text on your phone. If the phone cannot do that on its
own, Bridge turns voice off rather than send audio anywhere.
- You can export everything that is yours, and you can delete your account from
Settings.
Also inside
- Short exercises you can do alone or together, with generic, evidence-informed
framing.
- An optional link to a therapist you already work with, who sees patterns,
never words.
The first conversation is free. One subscription covers every pairing you are
in, and a pairing is covered if either of you holds it.
