About
SignalBreak is an eye-rest, digital-wellbeing, and screen-habit companion for iPhone and iPad. “Signal” is the habit signal that keeps us looking at the screen; “Break” is an intentional pause in continuous use. The black-and-white TV static is a visual metaphor for that pause. It does not indicate or change a real network, call, video, or display state. Create focused rules for distracting screen use. When continuous use reaches your limit, SignalBreak can show a gentle notification or Apple’s Screen Time Shield and guide a short, healthy break. Navigation, meetings, and other important moments can be paused for a limited time, with protection resuming automatically. Key features: - Low-power continuous-use estimation with Apple Screen Time - Strong interventions, gentle reminders, and time-limited exceptions - Guided 20-second distance-gaze, closed-eye breathing, blinking, and gentle gaze-movement practices - Morning reports for the complete previous day and evening reflections for today - Daily Screen Time trends, daypart patterns, and Top 5 app summaries - Successful, incomplete, and pending intervention statistics - Five-part daily check-ins, seven-day care trails, and feeling trends - Home and Lock Screen widgets plus an iOS 18 Control Center entry - Local data-size visibility, separate record controls, and authorization controls - Reduce Motion and Dim Flashing Lights support - Designed for iPhone and iPad Optional Parent Insights adds more detailed seven-day hourly, per-app, bedtime, and continuous-use views for families who need them. It is a separate tier from Personal Insights and does not change the free core eye-break features. Detailed app data begins accumulating on device only while Parent Insights is active and can be cleared separately. Privacy: SignalBreak has no account, advertising, or cross-app tracking. Statistics stay in the on-device App Group. Detailed app duration and Top 5 availability depend on Apple authorization, OS version, and region. SignalBreak is a digital-wellbeing and habit aid. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Terms of Use (Apple Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/Read more

This update improves the completeness of spoken guidance during the 20-second eye break: - The full transition guidance now plays reliably after you actively start a break. - Eye-movement safety guidance finishes during preparation. - Clear, short up, right, down, and left cues finish before each visual direction changes. - The transition tone ends before speech begins, reducing overlap or interruptions. - Passive Shield presentation still tries to preserve foreground calls and media. SignalBreak plays guidance only after you actively start the break. Your existing rules, reports, check-ins,…
