About

Sundial is a screen time app built on one idea: a limit should feel like a sundial, not a stopwatch. You decide what your time is for, and the app quietly holds the line. LIMITS THAT ACTUALLY SHIELD Choose the apps or categories that eat your day and give each rule a daily allowance. When it runs out, iOS itself blocks the app — not a timer you can swipe away. One rule can hold any number of apps at once. THE BLOCK TELLS YOU WHY Every shield says what you finished ("30 min done for today.") and repeats the reason you set that rule — "For my health. Put the phone down." The exit stays yours as well: finish for today, take 15 more minutes, or lift that rule until midnight. Nothing is a dead end. TODAY, AT A GLANCE The home tab estimates how much of the day you have spent and turns it into a health score that drains as the hours do. The day's ink-wash landscape shifts with it, so the picture tells the story before the number does. HISTORY WORTH READING All history in one heatmap, plus a per-day breakdown of where the time went: which apps, which categories, and how they compare with your limits. THE HOME SCREEN WIDGET Today's figure and your most urgent rules, small or medium, right on the Home Screen. QUIET BY DESIGN Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no server, no analytics, no ads. Sundial reads only aggregate usage time through Apple's Screen Time framework — never what you do inside an app. Full policy: see the Privacy Policy link below. SUNDIAL PRO A single one-time purchase unlocks every theme, every background scene, and the Home Screen widget. No subscription. REQUIREMENTS Sundial needs Screen Time permission (Settings → Screen Time → Sundial) to read your totals and set limits. iPhone.Read more
