About
Log what you ate. Calsense turns it into calories, macros and micronutrients, measured against reference intakes adjusted for your body, your goal, your diet, and any health conditions you tell it about. Most trackers stop at calories and three macros. Calsense keeps going — vitamins, minerals, fibre, sodium — and tells you which ones you are actually short on, over a window you choose. WHAT IT DOES • Log meals against a built-in food reference — works without a connection • Dishes the reference doesn't know: describe them, or photograph your plate, for an AI estimate you can correct • Calories and full macro breakdown, against a target derived from your body and goal • Micronutrient tracking with reference intakes adjusted for your profile • Fibre and a condition-aware sodium ceiling, both shown rather than buried • Nutrient gaps ranked worst-first — and only for nutrients it can actually measure • Progress over 7 or 30 days, with streaks and weekly summaries • Hydration and supplement tracking • Body measurements and weight trend HOW IT TALKS TO YOU Honest and plain. "Over target", not "You blew it". A number you chose for yourself is not a moral failing, and a day with nothing logged is a day with no evidence — not a day you scored zero. WHAT IT SENDS, AND WHAT IT KEEPS You sign in with Apple or Google. The account and the body details you enter during setup — date of birth, sex, height, weight — are saved to it, so our other apps can offer them back instead of asking again. When you ask for a dish the reference list doesn't know to be analysed, what you send — the description, or a photo of your plate — goes to our server and on to whichever AI provider is handling the request (the current list is in our privacy policy); our server keeps what was sent and the answer it got back for as long as your account exists. A photo you send is kept with your account rather than on the phone, which is how it comes back on a new device; deleting a single meal removes the meal but not its photo. Your diary — meals, hydration, supplements, measurements, meal photos and your setup answers — is saved to your account, so it all comes back after a reinstall or on a new device. No advertising and no cross-app tracking. Calsense does send anonymous product analytics — which screens you open, whether a sign-in succeeded, and errors it hits — never your meals, your numbers or your photos, and never tied to your account. The privacy policy has the full list. The reference-list numbers are deterministic — a table and arithmetic you could check by hand. An analysed dish is an estimate, and Calsense says so on the entry. Calsense is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat anything. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet, particularly if you have a health condition or are pregnant.Read more
