About
A calorie tracker that stays out of your way. Log what you ate, see where the day stands, and get an honest read on the week. Nothing invented, nothing you did not enter. WHAT IT DOES • Search a built-in food table of 272 foods, or add an entry by hand • Photograph a plate, or describe it, and get an estimate you can correct • Adjust the portion and see calories and macros update • Today: a ring for the day, macro bars, and your meals grouped as you ate them • History over 7, 14 or 30 days, with your logging streak and weight trend • A calorie target derived from your body details and goal, which you can override YOUR DATA You sign in with Apple or Google. With Apple, choose Hide My Email and we never see the real one. Your diary is saved to your account. What you log, your weight history, your daily water and your supplement checklist are stored on our server so they survive a new phone and a reinstall, and so signing back in brings them with you. The app still reads from this device first, so it opens instantly and works with no signal; what you log offline goes up when there is signal again. What is NOT saved to your account: the answers you gave during setup, beyond four. Your goal, activity level, training phase, ethnicity, dietary patterns, health conditions and your calorie and macro targets stay on this phone. The four that do travel — date of birth, sex, height and weight — go to your account so our other apps can offer them back instead of asking again. If you ask for an estimate, the photo and the words you gave go to our server and on to an AI model, which guesses what is on the plate. We keep the photo on your account so it stays with the entry across your devices, and it stays there even if you delete the entry. Nothing is sent unless you ask for an estimate. No advertising and no cross-app tracking. KcalOS does send anonymous product analytics — which screens you open, whether a sign-in succeeded, and errors it hits — never your food, your weights or your targets, and never tied to your account. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No AI between you and your targets. Your calorie and macro targets come from a published equation and arithmetic you could do yourself — never from a model. The estimate is one optional way to fill in a meal, and it says so on screen. The food table and quick add need no signal and no server. No subscription. No paywall. No upsell screen. KcalOS is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device, and nothing it shows you is medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional before changing your diet.Read more
