About

Valhalla is a habit tracker. Five deeds arrive each morning, you tick off the ones you did, and that work carries you up eight standings, from Thrall to Einherjar. No one is chosen for the hall. You earn the seat on ordinary days. Choose two of the five runes to lead your draw. Push-ups, ten pages, seven hours of sleep, a walk, cold water: 66 to pick from. --- THE MORNING BOARD --- Five deeds are drawn every morning, on both tiers, weighted toward the two runes you lead with. Uruz, Might: lifting, carrying, marching, holding a position Ansuz, Wits: reading, study, writing, learning another tongue Sowilo, Vigour: sleep, water, food, rest, sitting still Kenaz, Sight: attention, what you notice, what is owed, listening Tiwaz, Will: cold water, rising early, the routine nobody sees Every deed carries five rungs, from Spoken to Undying. Completing one earns glory. Enough glory takes a level. Enough levels take a standing. --- THE STANDINGS --- Eight standings, from Thrall to Einherjar. A thrall is bound and owes his days to someone else. The einherjar are the chosen slain, who feast in Valhalla and fight until the end. A standing never falls once you reach it. It also sets the rung your deeds are drawn at, so the morning asks for more as you climb. --- THE OATH --- An oath is one deed you swear to hold for a fixed span, with glory staked on it. Hold the span in full and the stake comes back doubled. Break it and the stake is gone. Losing an oath costs glory. It never costs you a standing you already hold. A free warrior swears for seven days and stakes up to 200 glory. --- THE LONGHOUSE --- Work one rune seven days running and a warrior swears to you, taking a seat in your hall. Twelve seats stand in the hall from the first day, empty and numbered. Nothing you do later empties one you have filled. --- WHAT IS INSIDE --- 66 deeds across the five runes, each with five rungs, so a deed grows as you do A standing that never falls once earned A standing stone with the five runes cut into it, showing which runes you actually work Twelve seats in your hall, empty on day one A streak that multiplies the glory a rune returns, up to 5x at ninety days Reminders in the morning, the evening, or both, at hours you pick, and one late warning on a day an oath is still owed No leaderboard, no friends list, no other user. Nothing you do is compared against anyone. Ink on vellum. No neon, no confetti. Works offline. Your deeds are stored on your device. --- ODIN'S EYE --- Everything above is free and stays free. Odin's Eye is the paid tier: Two more deeds once the morning's five are done Legend and Undying, the two hardest rungs of every deed, worth 75 glory each. The free app stops at Carved. Oaths of 14 and 30 days, paying 3x and 5x, with no cap on the stake The Norns' Reprieve, which forgives one missed day every seven, so a long streak survives a bad week. It never covers an oath. Unlimited draws. The free app allows ten a day. Unlimited deeds you write yourself. The free app keeps one. Odin's Eye is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly at US$4.99 or yearly at US$29.99, charged to your Apple account. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you can cancel any time in your App Store settings. Prices in other regions are set to the local equivalent. --- LEGAL --- Privacy Policy: https://inzention.com/privacy-policy Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/Read more
