About
BloodChart keeps your blood test results in one place and shows how each value has moved over time. I made BloodChart to follow my own blood tests, so I'm releasing it for free. No subscription, no in-app purchases. Everything it tells you has a source you can check: reference intervals say where they come from, the marker texts cite theirs, and the biological age names the papers behind it. IMPORT A LAB REPORT Choose a PDF from your lab and BloodChart reads the values, the units and the reference intervals off the page. You see every row before anything is saved, and readings the app is unsure of are flagged, never hidden. Values can also be entered by hand. Built for reports from Swedish laboratories. SEE WHERE EVERY VALUE STANDS Each marker has its own page showing your latest value against its reference interval. By default, BloodChart goes by what your lab printed on the report: its high or low flag, or its reference interval. If the report shows neither, the app uses its own interval and says so. One setting switches every marker to the app's intervals instead. FOLLOW THE TREND Each marker's chart draws every measurement against its reference interval, so a value that has been drifting for two years is as visible as one that jumped last month. LEARN YOUR BIOLOGICAL AGE The Overview tab opens with your phenotypic age, computed with the published PhenoAge model (Levine et al., 2018) from nine standard blood values and your age. The app shows every input with its draw date and tells you when one is missing. WALK IN PREPARED The Doctor visit tab lists every value outside its reference interval and how long it has been there, and exports the list as a PDF to bring to your appointment. READ UP ON 114 MARKERS Blood count, iron, lipids, liver, kidneys, thyroid, hormones, vitamins and more. Each marker has a plain-language explanation of what it measures and what can cause a high or low value, and you can read it before you have a single result. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS BloodChart never stores your results outside your own devices and never sees them. There is no account, no server and no tracking. Your values stay on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud if it is turned on, so they follow you to a new phone. From the app's settings you can export everything as CSV and JSON, or erase it all, on the phone and in iCloud. If you allow it, BloodChart reads your workouts from Apple Health and flags any sample drawn within 48 hours of one. It never writes to Health. WHAT BLOODCHART DOES NOT DO It does not diagnose or treat anything, and it leaves the conclusions to you and your doctor. BloodChart does not replace medical advice.
