About
When caught in rumination or looping thoughts, self-regulation can feel nearly impossible. Trying to navigate complex interfaces or process heavy visual information often deepens mental fatigue. Oberron is an audio-first digital wellness experience designed to gently interrupt that cycle, helping you step out of repetitive cognitive patterns and regain intentional control over your attention. Built upon the principles of Attention Training Technique (ATT), an evidence-informed protocol from Metacognitive Therapy. Oberron shifts your awareness away from internal distress and grounds it in the external environment. Through real-time 3D spatial audio, the app positions distinct acoustic cues across a full 360-degree soundscape, guiding your focus without requiring continuous screen engagement. Put on your headphones and let the auditory environment guide your mind back to clarity. Every session guides you through three progressive attentional exercises: Selective Attention: Focus your awareness on individual, localized sounds placed specifically around you, from subtle mechanical rhythms to organic ambient textures. Rapid Attention Switching: Train cognitive flexibility as the narration dynamically shifts your focus across randomized spatial coordinates. Divided Attention: Expand your awareness to absorb the entire panoramic sound field simultaneously, teaching your mind to hold broader perspective. Key Features & System Integrations: • 3D Spatial Audio Engine: Immersive sound staging powered directly by native iOS spatial acoustics. • Independent Audio Balance: Customize the volume balance between guided narration and ambient soundscapes to match your sensory preference. • Accessibility First: Built-in OpenDyslexic, Lora, and system typography with full dynamic type scaling. • Effortless System Access: Launch your daily exercises hands-free using Siri voice commands, Lock Screen widgets, or the iOS Action Button. • Private & Open: No account required, no invasive tracking, and fully committed to user privacy. Oberron was conceived and built by: • Muhammad Akbar Reishandy • Caiden da Costa • Cello Farrel Tanojo Support & Feedback: For questions, bug reports, or feedback regarding our spatial audio implementation, contact us directly at akbar@reishandy.id or visit https://github.com/Project-Oberron/Oberron Oberron is an auditory focus and relaxation exercise.
