WHAT IT DOES • Record each appliance: asset ID, description, class (I, II, III), location and photos • Enter readings from any PAT tester: visual inspection, earth continuity (Ω), insulation resistance (MΩ), lead/polarity, functional check, and optional load/leakage (mA) • Mark the overall PASS or FAIL result: your professional judgement, recorded and not calculated • Set a risk-based retest interval on each test and see the next-due date • Build an asset register across multiple sites and clients • See what is coming up for retest, soonest first, with optional reminders • Generate a PDF PAT test certificate and a PDF asset register report • Export the asset register as CSV • Open a test photo full screen, share it, or attach the photos to the certificate as an appendix • Scan a barcode or QR asset tag to recall an appliance, or type the ID by hand • Put your name, company, competency and signature on every certificate • Works offline, with no account and no sign-in HOW IT WORKS Add a site, then its appliances. Log a test (visual, earth continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and functional checks) and record PASS or FAIL. PATBook tracks the next-due date, lists what is due soonest, and generates the certificate and the register as PDFs you can share or print. PATBook is a record-keeping and certificate-preparation tool. It does not determine or guarantee whether any appliance is safe. PASS or FAIL is your professional judgement, based on your own visual inspection and instrument readings. Test methods, pass limits, and retest intervals must follow the current IET Code of Practice and your own risk assessment. SUBSCRIPTION AND PURCHASE TERMS PATBook Pro is available as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time Lifetime unlock, which does not renew. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy. Pro lifts the limits on sites and appliances and removes the certificate watermark. Everything you have already recorded stays readable and exportable whether or not you subscribe. The limits apply only to new entries. Subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
