About
Deciding what to watch shouldn't take longer than the show itself. TVPilot narrows down what's actually worth watching tonight — for one person or two — using rules you set, not an endless scroll through every streaming app you own. HOW IT WORKS Set your rules. Only want what's on your own subscriptions? Only unwatched titles? Nothing over 90 minutes? Toggle the rules that matter and watch the Venn diagram show you exactly how many titles are left. Search real movies and shows. Add anything from TMDB's full catalog, complete with posters, synopses, ratings, and genre — or add a title by hand if you already know what you're looking for. Pick together. Two people can each rate what they're in the mood for, and TVPilot's Compromise Pick finds something you'll both actually enjoy — not just whoever picked last. Know before you tap. See at a glance whether a pick is included with something you subscribe to, free with ads, rent/buy only, or not currently available to stream anywhere — before you commit to it. Go straight there. Tonight's pick opens directly to where you can actually watch it, named by service when TVPilot knows it (Netflix, Max, Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, and more). Sync with your person. Share your rules and ratings with a partner using a simple share code — no account, no sign-up, nothing to remember. EIGHT WAYS TO NARROW IT DOWN On My Services · Streamable Only · Unwatched Only · Highly Rated Only · Recent Releases · Family Friendly · English Language Only · Can't Repeat Genre — plus Max Runtime and Movie-or-Show filters, all visualized live as an overlapping Venn diagram so you can actually see why the list is short. TVPilot is the companion app to DinePilot, built for the same reason: some decisions are more fun made together, and faster when something else narrows the field first.Read more

Search for a title now also lets you search by actor — pick a person and browse their filmography to add straight from it. Added a "Trending Now" section to My Shows for quick, one-tap discovery of what's popular (filtered to your streaming services when set). Tonight's Pick now shows a poster, a short synopsis, and a Watch Trailer button to help you decide before committing. Manual title entry is now a fallback (shown only when a search comes up empty) instead of a separate mode — search is the default way to add a title. Added quick jump-to-top/jump-to-bottom buttons for long My Shows li…
