About
BLQ is an offline trivia game with a second life as a revision tool. THE ARCADE 17,576 questions across ten domains — History, Science, Geography, Arts & Literature, Film TV & Music, Sport, Technology, Food & Culture, IQ & Puzzles and Logical Reasoning — each at Easy, Medium and Hard. Play a round of 5, 10, 15 or 20. Pick a domain yourself, let the coach choose one based on what you have and haven't played, or hit Randomizer and take whatever comes. Reasoning questions get 30 seconds on the clock; everything else gets 15. Answer quickly and the speed bonus pays. String three together and the multiplier climbs. Get stuck and spend your one 50:50. Every question, right or wrong, comes with a short explanation of why — and the results screen replays the whole round question by question, so nothing goes unexplained. Get one wrong and you get a consolation meme. It seemed only fair. There are XP, levels and ten badges to chase, plus a per-domain breakdown showing where you are strong and where you are guessing. THE STUDY BANK Double-tap the BLQ wordmark on the start screen and the app turns into something else: 1,277 coursework questions across Cloud Security, Network Security, Software Engineering and Visual Analytics. Each subject is split by unit and difficulty, and the multiple-choice questions stay locked until you have turned that unit's flashcard deck once — so you read before you are tested. Revision keeps its own score and its own progress, and never touches your arcade level. "Drill my weak spots" builds a round weighted towards the topics you keep getting wrong. NO CONNECTION REQUIRED, EVER BLQ makes no network requests. Not at launch, not during a round, not ever. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and nothing leaving your device. Every question and every flashcard is bundled inside the app. Your progress is stored on your device and nowhere else.Read more
