About
Maxx is a Boston Terrier with a passport and no intention of standing still. Tap to jump. Tap again to double jump. Swipe down to slide. You will have the controls in about four seconds. What takes longer is a road that keeps changing under you, across eight destinations, six rides, and one dog catcher who is always closer than he looks. EIGHT PLACES WORTH THE TRIP Paris, Tokyo, Rome, Cairo, Sydney, London, Africa and Antarctica. Each has its own skyline, its own weather and its own trouble. Cairo throws sandstorms. London rains. Antarctic ice carries every slide further than you meant to go. Survive to the end of a run and the landmark is waiting: the Eiffel Tower, Mount Fuji, the Colosseum, the Great Pyramid. SIX RIDES THAT PLAY DIFFERENTLY Hold the tap on the skateboard and the ollie floats. The bicycle pulls loose coins into the basket. The Jeep smashes straight through lampposts. The horse gallops through puddles that would stop anything else. The scooter and the sports car score higher and forgive less. Choosing a ride is choosing a game. A PASSPORT THAT FILLS UP Every city you clear stamps the passport and pins itself to a world map drawn from real coastlines. Three missions per city, and a gold stamp for clearing all three. Five souvenirs hidden in every destination. Twelve travel titles to climb, from Pup to Jet-Setter. A daily challenge run that everyone in the house can compare. 480 FACTS, WRITTEN THREE WAYS Sixty real facts about each destination, arriving between runs so nobody has to sit through a lesson. The Colosseum held around fifty thousand people. Kilimanjaro has glaciers almost on the equator. Antarctic ice holds ninety percent of the fresh water on Earth. Every fact is written at three reading levels, and the game serves the one that matches the age you picked. MADE TO BE HANDED OVER Three separate profiles, so a shared phone keeps three separate passports, three sets of stamps and three sets of records. Difficulty is labelled by age rather than by ego: Easy for 6 to 10, Medium for 11 to 16, Hard for 17 and up. It says so on the button, so you are not guessing on someone else's behalf. NO ADS. NO PURCHASES. NO ACCOUNT. Nothing to buy, nothing to sign into, nothing to connect to. Coins are earned by playing and spent in the shop on upgrades, and that is the only currency in the game. It runs on a plane with the wifi off. Maxx Adventures is made by Cruise Planners.Read more
