About

FitEdit helps you repair a workout record when the workout happened, but the recording did not go to plan. Maybe your Apple Watch ran out of battery halfway through a run. Maybe you forgot to start a workout. Or maybe you got into the car after finishing and only noticed at home that the timer was still running. FitEdit gives you a careful way to complete, recreate, or correct that workout in Apple Health. THREE WAYS TO REPAIR A WORKOUT • Recording stopped early Choose the recorded workout, then tell FitEdit what happened after it stopped. FitEdit can use the completed portion, your route, similar workouts, and perceived effort to reconstruct the missing segment. • Nothing was recorded Add a workout you genuinely completed but forgot to track. Choose the activity, approximate start time, duration, distance, and effort—or copy a similar workout from your history and adjust it. • Recording ran too long If a drive home became part of your run, FitEdit can look for a sudden jump in route speed and suggest where the workout really ended. You can also choose the correct end time yourself. FitEdit creates a corrected copy; the original stays in Fitness until you review the result and delete it yourself. ESTIMATES YOU CAN REVIEW FitEdit can estimate duration, distance, active energy, heart rate, pace or speed, cadence, and other activity-specific metrics. Outdoor routes can be continued, retraced, reused from a similar workout, or sketched on a map. Nothing is written silently. You see the reconstructed workout first and can adjust what you remember before confirming it. Generated values are saved as user-entered, estimated FitEdit data—not as measurements captured by Apple Watch sensors. BUILT FOR MANY TYPES OF TRAINING FitEdit supports outdoor running, walking, hiking, cycling, strength training, HIIT, yoga, swimming, elliptical workouts, rowing, and other activities. Route tools are available for supported outdoor workouts. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your health values and routes stay on your iPhone and in HealthKit. They are not sent to analytics. FitEdit stores only the identifiers and status needed to manage repairs, and no account is required. FitEdit is a fitness logging tool, not a medical device. Use it to document workouts that actually occurred. All estimates should be reviewed before saving. TERMS: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/Read more
