About
RadProtocol helps clinical staff choose the right MRI or CT order code from their department's approved order list, and suggests an Ontario priority level (P1 to P4) with its target time. EVERY RESULT SHOWS ITS SOURCES Each recommendation lists what it is based on, with links: • Your department's approved order list: the code chosen, the indications it is approved for, and the version of the list • Ontario Health's diagnostic imaging priority definitions, and the Ontario Ministry of Health's explanation of priority levels • Your department's own priority document, where one has been uploaded • How the recommendation was made WHAT IT DOES • Suggests the best-matching MRI or CT order code from the approved list, with its confidence and reasoning • Recommends a P1 to P4 priority and target time, with reasons • Handles requests that need more than one exam • Lists alternatives and the information that would change the answer • Flags safety and contrast considerations, and marks uncertain or urgent results for radiologist review • Dictate the clinical indication: speech is turned into text on your iPhone and the recording never leaves it BUILT FOR SAFETY • Only codes on the approved list can be suggested; it never invents one • It does not make diagnoses; the ordering clinician makes the final decision • Details that look like patient identifiers are removed before a request is processed • MRI safety, contrast, renal and pregnancy screening remain mandatory ACCOUNTS Create an account with your email address, or sign in with one issued by your department. One account works for MRI and CT, in the app and at radprotocol.ca. You can delete your account at any time from Account. RadProtocol is decision support for healthcare professionals. It does not replace clinical judgement or the radiologist.Read more
